  Noticed Bandon Dunes on the list of courses for the Virtual Tour (September). Is one of the 'Majors' going to be held on a par 3 course or has something changed? Are we getting a full 18 hole course?

  Majors will not be held on a par 3 course, their scores would probably be in the teens..lol

  A while back we all had a chance to vote on our favorite hole (Par 3 ) to be includued in the actual Par 3 course for this website. It is definately a beautiful course by the sea, and can not wait for it to come out. May even surpass Kiawah's Panoramic Ocean views. And will be my 2nd favorite ocean course besides Kiawah Island.

  We will be getting the US open course (Pinehurst No.2) as usual  plus the 18 par 3's from Bandon Dunes later on.

  Should be interesting. I'd imagine they'll be a handful of sub-36 scores after three weeks of unlimited play.

  Bandon Dunes Resort has 4 regulation 18 hole courses, and a 13 hole par 3 course (Bandon Preserve).

  We are getting a stroke play course made from 18 selected par 3s from those several courses. Nine of the 18 par 3 holes we are getting were selected by WGT player voting.

  I have to say personally I am not looking forward to a course that I will never play but I am sure a lot of players will enjoy it.

  cant believe we are getting another par 3 course and not a proper 18 hole course I don't play the par 3 course they have already never mind another one.

  I would hope not, but it is listed as a Major.... http://www.wgt.com/golf-tournaments/virtual-tour/ and I haven't seen anything about getting a full 18, leading me to believe this Major will be played on a par 3 course.
