What is the possibility of adding any of the Robert Trent Jones courses to the system?

WGT has a long term agreement with the USGA to add US Open venues.

Plus WGT has to reach and pay for a use licensing agreement with any course they want to add.

In the next 13 months we will be getting 4 new stroke play courses:

2014 US Open venue Pinehurst #2 in just a week or 2.

In progress is Bandon Dunes Resort - a par 3 18-hole course (select par 3s from their many golf courses)

Pebble Beach Golf Links for 18-hole stroke play. The necessary photography (200,000 to 300,000 photos) has been scheduled.

Then we will get the 2015 US Open venue Chambers Bay next May.

It takes WGT about 6 months to do the work it takes to add a new 18 hole course. So they are pretty much booked up until May of next year.

As good as that sounds,I doubt we see all 4 in 13 months time..just would be so not the norm for WGT...But we can only hope!!

    Take it to the bank.

Over the last year WGT has added staff.

Bandon Dunes has been in progress as they were finishing up Pinehurst #2.

You can play each of the 18 Pinehurst holes from tee to green today - 1 at a time - by clicking on WGT Community > Golf Courses.

They started doing the principle photography at Pebble Beach today - http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/233533.aspx

They have long been committed to adding Chambers Bay next May.

    Hi WGT people

Are there any plans to add an Australian course in the near future? There are many Aussies that play WGT and I'm sure they and other members would love to see one on the options, such as Royal Melbourne GC or any one of the fatastic courses down under.

Many thanks and I look forward to your reply.

    Cheers for now, Doomut

First WGT has to figure out how to convert Aussie $ to American $.......

That would require much testing......and we know that will not happen. I too, would love to see a course from down under, though I am sure unlikely.

WGT doesn't take course suggestions from members ever. They have their own plans.

So please explain this from last year?

    WGTadmin2:

Just send a note to the course general manager and tell them there is a great golf game out there with millions of golfers and they should have their course featured next to the top courses in the world.

    or

    WGTadmin2:

Sorry I do not see another UK course on the roadmap, but if you call your favorite course and ask them to join WGT it could help.

Chambers bay for the 2015 US Open is a Links-style course but I know it is not the same...

But if you really believe we have any input as CD says, you probably came down in the last shower.
