This is a petition to create a ( 60 second ) shot timer.

30 seconds is to short for some, 90 seconds is to long for others.  Lets meet in the middle.

I think that a 60 second option would be great.

    I go along with this.

I'm fine with that, but I'd also like a 3 minute option for those of us who would like to play a leisurely game with a friend, chatting along the way, stopping to smell the roses, and maybe discussing the last shot and how it could be played differently.  It would also give us a chance to go get a beer or visit the loo.

Most of the time the shot would be taken in 30 seconds, but the option of asking a question and having time to get an answer would be nice.

60 seconds would be good. Can hardly stand the 90 second thing.

hhmm; if the original time was 90 secs, amd, they reduced it to 30 secs.,it seems to me that meeting in the middle would be 45 secs., sufficient for all shots.

thinking along your lines take the pratice games dont put a time limit so you have your chat play games take the ranked games make them 45 seconds for pro and up and 90 seconds for amatures and hacks the 30 seconds is a little fast for some of the greens heaven forbid you miss hit and have a put from distence

90 seconds is toooo looooong! 30 seconds 2 shrt. Unless you like "speed-o golf" match play (which I do w/players I have played alot) 30 secs. is great. But to really get serious I personnally need a little more time. Forty-five seconds would be just about right.

Without opening a "can of worms", I would prefer doing away with both shot clocks and having a set time limit for your entire round. Like a 15-20 minute timer, which starts when its your turn and stops when you strike the ball. Something along the lines that chess uses.

    One shoe doesn't fit all.

Give the player hosting the round the freedom to set the timer: 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds, or no timer at all.

This is an obvious and logical feature in TWO, and WGT should follow TWO's lead in this regard asap.
