    ApexPC:

For aim - at 100 yards wind at 90° or 270° to the line of the shot will have the full effect. At 100 yards a 10 mph cross wind will move the ball right or left 10 feet. At 100 yards a 24 mph cross wind will move the ball right or left 24 feet.

At 150 yards the effect is 1.5x and a 10 mph cross wind will move the ball right or left 15 feet.

    Hey there!

For what balls, clubs and spin are these numbers valid? Cause the difference in how much the ball moves to the side with no spin or full BS is huge, not even counting the roll to the wind side you get after landing. There's a few yards difference even if you use Nike-S (more spin) or Nike-X (more distance) ball.

A lot of good, technical, very specific formulas to help you recover, past glory? When I made legend after 4 years and 4 months I hit the "WALL". I had been warned of all of the changes, long tee's, faster breaks, higher VEM interference, etc. all of it was quite managable except for the putting. Like you i changed balls every sleeve. All to no good result, so I relied on my old stand by to try and regroup. I got my oldest clubs, and the white rock and played a few rounds. I don't know if it is working yet, but I did get a 9 hole round with a score of par. When I get to under par scores on a regular basis I'll go back and try it again. This as worked in the past, should work now. Good luck no matter what you do. my nickle

so I relied on my old stand by to try and regroup. I got my oldest clubs, and the white rock and played a few rounds.

Wow!, simply amazing stuff. I actually enjoyed the game again.I reverted back to my old trust worthy Ping level 59 irons, left all other clubs  (R1 driver R11S 3 wood and ATV wedges) alone. Then used my sleeve of GI3-S balls I had left in my bag. I still managed to play fairly well off the tees and fairway shots; with more control & precision then my R11's and the faster meter that comes with it. Boy was that meter slow as molasses!...LOL

And the GI3-S balls play better as well on the greens that are faster. Felt like my old self again. Thank You Lee22sharon!

Will play with this set up for a while until I relearn the courses all over again.
