  While waiting for my invite from Mr paul , Old Squirrel nutz himself grabbed me, I'm not a guy to refuse a game from such a well presented pair of nuts like that gentleman possesses , so of course I accepted ( sorry Paul m8, sure you'll understand ) .

  The game was strange to say the least , any putt under 20 ft seemed to be running through treacle 

  we plodded on taking in the view , me leading then Rich pulling level on the 8th, both parred the 9th to go to extra holes.

  I was lucky to take the 10th after Rich missed a putt that just didn't play game :-( .

  Great game Rich, always a pleasure sir. 

  Mush 1 UP after 1 Extra hole.

  Wonderful match just now with Rich.  It all came down to the ninth.  Never be afraid of putting your approach shot in the bunker at the ninth.  Sometimes in golf it's ok to do that. The green at the ninth is much flatter between the front of the bunker and the pin.  I was able to full swing out of the bunker from 17 yards and put the ball within 1 foot of the hole. Rich's approach shot landed on the front of the green way left of the cup and he had to putt from 30 feet or so and missed by 7.  Course management, lads!  :-)

  I enjoyed both rounds, a lot of fun and great guys. If I could even half way putt both of these rounds could have turned out way different. Great matches to the end. Thank you gents for your time putting up with the old squirrel.
