Ready Go's have become so hard to win or at least turn a profit. Best of Par 5, if you don't birdie or Eagle all, you sure are out of top 10. There was a time when people kind of feared Oakmont. Now shoot 29 or less, or you are out of the podium. I am not complaining, I have won a few... and sucked my thumb in others. Have been paying for balls with whatever I have won, but if the wind dispenser or VEM turns against you... Bye bye dear credits. Even with a "not so good" 30 you can earn back some of your investment which is always better than WD and winning nothing.
