We are looking at some new potential payouts for Ready-Go tournaments and would like to get your feedback.  We have heard from players that they would like to see more players being paid out so we are looking at some new options.  Please let us know if you have a preference for one of these or even suggest a new option.

For reference, the current Ready-Go payout is:

    Current:

    Winner:  15%

    2nd:  10%

    3rd:  7.5%

    4th:  6.25%

    5th-10th:  5%

    11th – 15th:  2.5%

    16th – 30th:  1.25%

    Option 1:

    Winner:  10%

    2nd:  9%

    3rd:  8%

    4th:  7%

    5th:  6%

    6th – 10th: 5%

    11th – 15th:  2.5%

    16th – 33rd:  1.25%

    Option 2:

    Winner:  12%

    2nd:  10%

    3rd:  7%

    4th:  6%

    5th – 10th :  5%

    11th – 15th:  2.5%

    16th – 33rd:  1.25%

    Option 3:

    Winner:  10%

    2nd:  9%

    3rd:  8%

    4th:  6%

    5th:  5%

    6th:  4%

    7th:  3%

    8th – 20th:  2.5%

    21st – 42nd:  1%

    Thank you :)

I choose option 4 where rake is reduced to 10% or 15% :)

Edit  - Didn't do the math to see if that is accurate, but something like this would be nice.

    Option 4:

    Winner:  15%

    2nd:  10%

    3rd:  7.5%

    4th:  6.25%

    5th-10th:  5%

    11th – 15th:  3.0%

    16th – 20th: 2.0%

    21-25th: 1.5%

    26-30th 1%

Leave it the same as it is now. It's hard enough to make a profit as it is without giving credits to more places.

Ready go's are how most players pay for balls. The ball price gets higher yet you want to lower how much the winners get. You've already taken away the high stakes RG's. Drop the payouts and nobody will play them at all.

P.S. Sam's option 4 sounds very good indeed. Take 10% away from wgt's rake and share it out amongst 31st-35th

The current seems better than the rest. There were some suggestions to actually lower the % from 16th to 30th place in order to give some more to places between 11th and 15th, who currently only get an entry fee refund. I think that could be more popular than these new options.

    Cheers

If it is going to change all the options seem similar, maybe option 3 gives more people chance to get some credits back. While your at for changes icon, some high stakes back wouldn't go a miss, enough people asked for them. They did we'll over the xmas period and can't see anyone against them, the top players play in them and the players that can't afford them simply go in the lower one's.

Just my opinion but playing in 2k and 1k rg's over xmas then going down to 100-200 and 400 most just isn't as appealing

There's enough tour legends here to warrant them being in

Maybe in lower tier ready go's pay up to 42nd place so every one gets a small amount back, It will make the newbies feel better, but as for higher stakes ready go's and higher tiers i doubt any one of the winners want to be paid less and want more than the 30 which get paid at present.

Put it like this, now so much players are very good at the game and for example a 58 at St Andrews used to double your money, now it LOSES YOU MONEY so unless you score 57 you wont break even.  Paying more players in higher tiers ready go's will only cause players to never break even and the scores which used to double your money will increase even more so you would have to score say 56 just to better your entrance fee. Please, don't increase the amounts who get paid in higher tier, higher stakes ready go's.  (yes in the 100c, 50c lower tiers maybe increase the payouts to 33 and 42 for master and below, but stick to 30 or less for $2+ and tour master+)

**Another idea, you have speed brackets, what about speed ready go's, a ready go with say 16 entrants, once 16 have been filled tourney starts, and a top 5 pay out??

If you don`t play well you should not collect.

No reason why you should take away credits from players who play well.

It`s hard to make a profit how it currently is

If WGT reduces there rake they take and gave 5% of that back then they can use that to pay extra places, leave it as it is.

I think that the current payout is fine as a right incentive to keep the competition level high and a difference of 5% is certainly not the decisive tuning point to fulfill some players that would like to see paid those who, in any case, have made a wrong turn.

Keep everythings just as it is.
