Pinehurst No.2 - Pre US Open

  Could WGT open up Pinehurst No.2 as an option in creating tournaments in advance of the US Open?

  It's available in game but hasn't yet been made available for tournament creating.

  Most clubs would like to replicate the US Open over this period on the course it's being played on. It's a Major tournament on the golf calendar which WGT have available in game.

  Even if it's just open temporarily opened between the 11th (one day prior to the tournament for time difference) and 15th  June it would be appreciated by a majority of players.

  It  would be very nice to play the course particularly in Stroke Play.

  I know the request is asking for something that's not only possible but perhaps WGT already have it in the pipeline but just in case I'd like to request this and hope to receive the support of fellow WGT players n this thread.

  I agree too,  but I read somewhere it will be available to CC's in August....  or after the US Open.

  it'll be open after the US Open. it's not possible to do it beforehand.

  If you want to do it as a club tournament then may i suggest you take sign ups in your club forum and players go out and play the course in pairs, 3's or 4's and then come back to the club forum and post their card. It'll take someone to tot up the scores but it can be a good way of getting members involved and also meeting/playing with members they may not of had a game with before.

  Hi Dazza, thanks it's a good suggestion and one I'd already thought of. Was just hoping WGT might include in the creating tournament options before the US Open but good to know it's coming soon :)

  Would seem like a good challenge; the current 9 hole though is unplayable. It's like playing crazy golf in a storm with beer goggles. Green slopes down left to right ... but the ball rolls left (uphill... REALLY?!?) . Uphill 30ft putt... at 30ft on the gauge goes 11 feet past the pin. Downhill putt 5 feet, at 1/3 power doesn't even reach the cup. I'm thinking of abandoning Pinehurst for Bushwood. Even the gopher doesn't affect the game THAT much.
