To clarify what I meant-use a shot where the landing has forward roll on it and climb the slope to the pin. Top spin does this and when using it with tail winds you would need to club down and hit one where the max distance is less than the distance to pin.
For instance, 150 out with a head wind and an uphill landing-try an 8i with top spin (7i in harder winds, maybe choked.) You know hitting 150 into wind to that pin is going to be short because the pin is uphill and the wind's holding up the carry. The top spin gets the ball on the ground sooner and lets it roll more at the end. Worst case scenario is you're short and that's a good place to be with that pin.
