    AussieNutcase:

Hi all I'm Nut and it has come to my attention (and yes I will be naming names and wgt should not ban me for showing the truth.) that there are people out there trying to steal others away from established CC's to their own CC from ones they were in b4 . This is unethical and morally wrong. zzzzzzzzzz a former aussie aussie aussie CC member has been poaching  members from this club he was in to join his( league of legends) CC . I have named and shamed him for all the right reasons . I have not all ways got along with shrude and at times argued with him but this is bs and wrong stop doing it buddy it's not right. Nut

It would seem some facts have gone missing in your post Nut.

But what the heck, " Never let the truth get in the way of a good story "

As a member of LOL  of course I will back Chris up as he has always been upfront  in all my dealings with him and is a good bloke and doesn't deserve this misinformation spread in the Forums.

    Regards Alan Chapman

Oh where to begin.... sigh....  I honestly shouldn't even respond to this as I'm just feeding the fire, but I do have to make it perfectly clear that I don't "poach" members.  Everyone that I have asked to join my club has been a friend of mine, or a friend of a friend.  I'm not sure how this is unethical and morally wrong? Maybe it's different in your country, but as far as I'm concerned we don't sign these country club memberships in blood.  Everyone in my club made a conscious decision to join. I did not manipulate or bribe like I have heard some owners do. My members are free to leave and join any club they want at any time.  It sounds to me like someone just doesn't have what it takes to run a club properly, and that's why people are jumping ship. Is someone angry because their life and enormous ego revolves around a country club on an internet golf game? I am unclear why you are saying negative things about me in a public forum as I have never heard of you before in my life.  You sound like a country club owner who is upset that their club wasn't what they thought it was.  Anyway, I have a great group of guys begging me to stop wasting my time in this forum and go play some competitive golf and that's more important to me than this. Oh, I will happily let you try and "poach" anyone from my country club. If you take them from me, they never belonged here to begin with. Good luck with that though as I'm sure you can't take 1.  Good luck buddy and hope you find happiness somewhere, but it won't be where you're at now.

    Cheers

Chris aka EM3GRIEDEL ( Owner of League of Legends )

Oh by the way, if there are any Legends or Tour Legends looking for a competitive country club with a lot of tourney's and fun matches.  You have my name and country club now. :)

Players enter and leave CCs at their own will. It needs at least one click, voluntary and unforced.

Thus it's pathetic to create a crime or moral misconduct if a player follows his emotions or any argument to change a CC - it's a sign of personal freedom!

That said, as a CC owner I'd not invite a player who is a member of another CC - he has to quit there first, then he will be subject of my sympathetical assessment.

    Alas, this

    AussieNutcase:

is unethical, misconduct and against the guidelines. It should be punished!

Who are you? Witness, prosecutor and judge in one person?

Your "truth" fulfils worldwide naming and blaming without any proof (and I don't want to see it!), impossible to be withdrawn or contradicted.

    Shame on you!

Well after 10 months playing the game, reading forums and resisting answering some of the entertaining (being facetious here) posts and literally biting my tongue in real life I think this topic above all should drag me out from being a serial forum lurker.

I guess the first thing I'll put out there is that I too am a member of CC#2 and a former member of CC#1 and for the record I was not poached I came of my own volition (decisions us adults have to make at times.)

CC#1 was my first CC and without delving into long winded details that we all have experienced, I met, befriended and learnt from several of the members during my time there which of course was the catalyst to pursuing greener pastures with CC#2 coupled with what seemed to be a significant lack of club activity in CC#1 in the end. (I am guessing this is the point that loses you in my reply given you are not a member of CC#1 which a quick check of your profile showed me as I had not heard your name before)

Now as most have stated in this thread above saying this makes me somewhat of a Captain Obvious so with that view and my shiny captain suit on I'll finish my post in the same style.

I am not sure who you are AussieNutcase but seems you have an axe to grind here and given in my time at CC#1 I never knew you in any format by name I am guessing you were not a member so this leads me to believe the allegation you made is 2nd or 3rd hand which makes you look now kinda foolish making statements blindly on behalf of another.

I am merely a member of League of Legends and am not privy to the day to day happenings at owner level but is it possible you have previously applied to the club and not been accepted as if that's the case then I feel bad for you as this is an excellent CC with some of the best players on WGT as members.

I guess I too am clutching at straws with that theory but since non fiction and blind opinion was how you started the thread I am guessing it is ok to throw a little into my post.

Anyway first reply finished now so this is Captain Obvious singing out.

Here is my personal view on such actions - and I am speaking in general term..

If someone wants to recruit a player from another club, then it's entirely that players decision whether to stay or leave. How they do it (via misleading, gifts, lies, etc), is not something we can control and let's be honest, each player can decide that on their own.

Is it ethical or moral to recruit out of another country club? I don't know... I am not qualified to speak on either. IMO, unless ethics or morals are specifically spelled out as clauses (such as in a professional athlete's contract), then they are entirely open to interpretation.

Obviously, I can imagine how frustrated it is for a club owner to lose a player when he or she feels like that player was mislead or else, but maybe they are better off and that player wasn't worth the hassle?

Please keep this thread civic, follow our rules, or i'll be forced to close it.
