    Stryder1261:

WGT puts Cabo & Whistler on as free games under Tournaments. They let you play alone for free but charge credits to play it any other way. They ought to let CC's have them to use for free like 1-2 times a month.  What do you say WGT ???

I suspect that True-golf has a say in how WGT can use those 2 courses. Which might be why the June virtual tour course was changed from Whistler to the par 3 course.

if no one plays these courses thn WGT will eventually realise that its unfair for a game that is labelled as being free should charge a green fee...I mean they coud easily generate money by deliberately getting us to lose balls during a round....or are they already doing that ;-]]

Seeing as the quality of the pay courses is below the quality of the free courses, I just about get my fill of Cabo and Whistler when they are offered as free single-play tourneys.

Another perspective is that they are also offered as Ready-Go tourneys for the same fee as other Ready-Gos. Thus the effective green fee is zero. Whether you consider entering Ready-Gos to be a worthwhile investment is another issue.

I have proposed a year ago an update for the country club, I was thinking of dusting off but I'm happy to see that I am not alone in wanting to liberalize Cabo and Whistler.

I really hope that something can be done in the next months.

I pay-to-play Cabo & Whistler from time to time and enjoy both. I look forward to the infrequent weekly formats except that they are always single play games which comes off as cheap-skate to my mind.
