    Hello Shoe,

I'm assuming it would be a lot of work for WGT to ask all owners their opinions, would it be?  Maybe a note sent to club owners with a link to this post?  Do you know how many clubs are on WGT? Not all are active I presume.

One other thing, is it possible to add another feature to the club tournaments, allow tournaments to be cancelled due to lack of interest and errors?

    IMO, two essentials below.

    WGTdbloshoe:

That's the plan.  Only the owner can approve a co-owner.  The owner still will have ultimate control over the club and all features.

    stevepsheehan:

........So, the ability for WGT to transfer ownership under certain circumstances would be high on my list.

    Steve

However, (and this may already of happened), can you please actually ASK owners what they want, rather than just deciding what you THINK they want - the two may be somewhat different ;-)

We did.  A number of Club Owners were actually called personally by WGT to get their feedback.

I heard some rumors that WGT is going to have a CC bank feature soon ... can you elaborate when that will be unveiled?

It would be nice for best-ball events and group skins.  Ya know, you're missing out on the $$$ WGT could make from a CC Bank, right?

Yes that is a feature that we will be adding.  I believe any member can put credits into it but only the owner and co-owner can use the bank.  Not sure if it is going to be only used for equipment or if credits can be used to award for tournaments.

\We are rolling this thing out a little slower then we normally would due to it being such a big change.  The bank feature I don't believe is in the first portion of the release but should be something that comes fairly soon after.

Anyone can gift equipment ... and a member can only win credits from the "Credit tourneys" currently.

If it's a bank ... let the owners and co-owners pay credits to the winning members.  Most clubs are gifting equipment already.  What good is a bank if the owner has to "buy equipment" and gift to a member?  Let the member decide what they want to do with their winnings ... just like any other credit tourney!

Like I said I am not sure how the bank is going to be set up.  But the main point of it is to allow for credits or equipment to be put into one spot where the owner can go to give it out.  Currently clubs are using multi player games to move credits around.  The bank will make that aspect not needed.

Since you're "our voice" to the designers/programmers of this future bank, maybe you can tell those that are writing the bank the idea ...

Just like a credit game, when a member contributes money into the CC bank, WGT takes their cut ... right now that cut is 20% (so 12 credits will give the member 10 net credits in the bank (rounded up).

At the end of a CC event, the owner or their representative can pay out the credits as gross credits (i.e. 10 credits to MemberA ... and MemberA receives 10 credits in their account).

Either that or WGT allows full credits into the bank and takes their cut when the owner pays out the credits ... no double-dipping please!

I'm really not asking you how it's going to work ... just asking you to mention how it should work to your programmers/designers.

    Thanks!

Edit:  Honestly, I do understand how the CC's have worked out various work-arounds and how this will eliminate the need for said work-arounds.  It wasn't too long ago we had one of my rants discussing this topic.

Haven't heard of any cuts being taken. I will definitely pass along your ideas.
