Multiplayer tournaments?

  I love the speed of playing alone but  equally love the companionship of multiplayer stroke matches. So, I was wondering, is there a way WGT can make tourneys with a multiplayer option? Just like regular mp stroke matches, I'd love to be able to invite players to play alongside me in tournaments.

  Feasible?

  That would be cool.. especially in multi-round tournaments, pairing the leaders up as the tourney progresses.

  i agree fully with this thats why i dont play many its boring to play solo i like to roll with a few friends in a game the banter is better than the golf most days and joining a random game usually sucks ( plus more xp points for a mulit player tournie lmao )

  if wgt is worried about disco's why not make multiplayer tournies for the unlimited ones that way its a win win ?( at least make CC tournies multiplayer that would be great)

  well... if only all the  honest folks played them...

  ... man... i think the cheats would have a field day.... muilti's wud ..be multiply'n like bunnies...

  ..... other's...sharing distance info...or playing two comps..

  NOW ,,, a CC turny ..  id love that ..

  I asked the same question several months ago.  I find Tourney play BORING.  So I hope some more people will jump on this bad wagon and WGT will take a look at it!

  this idea has been floating around for the last 4 years and my view always been the same - I am against it for one simple fact: most players will prefer to play alone. Now, it's fun to play with friends, but my concentration is rarely there. Then, there is also timing and wind issues, where one can adjust for others shot, which would make it unfair.

  LOL thats total BS ,, ive played Links2003 for years , we always had multi player even in tourneys ,,its just like real golf & a lot more fun .. playing solo all the time is just  well damn boring ,,main reason I don't play many tourneys.

  almost everyone ive talked to on here want multi player for tourneys

  if someone doesn't want to play tourneys that way they don't have too ,,but a lot of us really do want it. its the players option.!

  it would also make it where you could play match play tourneys against the player ,not just his score , esp in CC's

  seeing anothers shot in real life is normal see it on tour & in everyday games every week

  why should this golf game be diff than how its done in Real Life Golf ??????
