Multiplayer tournaments?

  I hear you but I still think it's same.  We often have 100's of players in tournaments, especially free/unlimited ones, but the fact remains that when you play with a partner, you get reads on shots that you otherwise wouldn't.

  when it comes to tournaments, it's an individual game. 

  this is why we have other mp modes when you can share shot info and discuss strategy.

  Don't allow this option for Ready Go's... keep it limited to CC events.  Problem solved.  Make it happen please.  This would be a great option, imo.  Players could choose to play with an opponent or as a single.  Choices are good!

  Most realistic golf game then why not multiplayer in tourney's. You want it to be real then make it real all the way.

  if playing with someone in a real golf round ,,you see what happened dont you ?

  so why would it be cheating or gaining an advantage here if its same as real life ???

  fact is most of the players in WGT want the option of multi player tournaments

  because its more FUN ,,Fun is why most of us play & playing alone is just plain BORING !!!!

  alt shot & skins games are the most FUN on here & thats why I play those mostly

  sure would be FUN to play with my friends & others in Tournaments Also

  If H can get his yellow callies maybe wgt cant do this seems folks want it also but just for the country clubs not regular wgt tournies or ready go's

Now, it's fun to play with friends, but my concentration is rarely there. Then, there is also timing and wind issues, where one can adjust for others shot, which would make it unfair.

  really its only  mainly the cheats within wgt that prefer to play alone what with an unlimited timer etc so as to get their auto dinger program shots right. My CC would love to have this option and as stated playing tourneys alone is boring and if truth be told I seem to play better when competing against someone I am playing with and as in real golf if you get a read from an opponent then so be it

  I agree  +1000 this really needs to happen in CC tournies

  Multiplayer for CC tournaments would be wonderful addition. As for getting reads on putts and wind and so on just watch PGA pros as an opponent makes a shot. They are watching like hawks to see the result. That's why you don't want to hear "you're away". The multi for CC tourneys should be optional. If you want to and have friends available then do it. I've wondered about this for years and am glad somebody finally posted the idea.

  he says most players prefer to play alone ,WRONG , most payers want the option at least to play multi player or not ,,,who was asked ??. I bet if took a poll he would find out hes dead WRONG

  the WGT guys excuse makes no sense to me ,, its the lamest excuse ive ever heard and sounds like a player that only plays to earn Credits

  Playing alone is just boring , and really who would give advice to someone there playing against anyways ??? ,and seeing someone else's shot ,well thats just part of golf , and you cant see what club or strength they used anyways so no help really !!!

  I don't care what happens in the WGT Tourneys I don't play them ,,BORING

  But in the CC's every member In my club wants multi player for tourneys , and would love to see match play tourneys.

  We play this game for FUN not to earn credits ,, want to keep people playing this game ,, think bout what the players want,, Fun, when its not FUN they will QUIT PLAING !!!!

  Well I guess this thread is dead but I'll reply anyway as I'm pretty new to WGT. MP options in CC makes perfect sense. Don't like it? Don't use it! Don't want it in your CC? Don't allow it! Seems pretty silly to me to have a golf game so realistic, but force you to play alone on tourneys you can otherwise customize to your liking! You can choose the course and the wind but don't choose your partner haha!  There must be a hidden reason for not allowing it. Maybe no coding resources, something. It's really too bad.
