The course was set up as the US Open course. Everyone played from the Open championship tees which are not necessarily the back tees. Since then the configuration has stayed the same. Masters playing from the longest available tee.

As you can see 15th is at 458 yards. So the longest available tee for Masters is 478 yards
As you can also see par is 70 same as WGT rating. Where as the course in real life has a par 71 rating
GolferDadRB:I happened to be playin a round on the back 9 with a Legend yesterday and found out why the 15th was such a difficult hole from the Blue tees. It appears that the hole plays 478 yards from the Blue tees and 458 yards from the Champion tees. Why is that? Surely this is the result of a programming error. Is this something that can be fixed near-term?
Don't worry about it. He was a Legend which means he will be complaining so much about not getting as much fairway as you to work with he won't be able to wait to gripe about it in the forum and will (predictably) quit early.

A similar "discrepancy" (although minor) exists on STA # 11.
I am a Tour Master and the Hole measures 182. When I play against a Legend (Black Tees), they are hitting from 180.
Not losing sleep over the 2 yards LOL.
