Hi Deccy180, I propose you check out the Eagle Club Golf Association.  It is under brand new ownership, is growing very rapidly and has lots of activities going on.  We have member tournaments, members tournaments for individual tiers, amateurs, pros, etc., we have a major series which is very unique where that you play in club tournaments and earn points which will then qualify you for an upcoming major tournament where prizes are awarded.  We have teams where we compete against other clubs and we have an outside website with info, tips and recognition for our members.

We must be doing something right, we have doubled our membership in the last week since new ownership went into affect.  Come check us out...if you don't like us you're free to move on to something more suited to your needs.

    Cheers!

By far the best CC here is Golfseekers.  we have approx. 40 active members and tournaments run all the time and many of them.  different formats too.  Check it out and send pm to Crazyman2 if you want in, a new season will be starting soon.

sriley forgot to mention that GolfSeekers uses a proven handicap method to provide fairness to all its members.

we have 40 quality players not about quantity.  he asked for a decent CC, did not know it was a numbers game. we also shuffle out our inactive members and  play our events with a handicap system, which enables multiple winners.

    Happier Days @ Golfseekers CC

    Cheers,

aww sriley13 i see what you mean with only 37 members even if they all entered you have a chance of winning a comp...i hope you get some new members soon as winning a comp with 80+ players is much more satisfying...why not take in some amateurs and help them progress like the uk golfers elite cc does, sorry gotta dash 5 more pros are asking to join the best uk club on wgt..

    take care fella

hahahah  i see that less than 10% actually played  in your last event  lol  ooooh  and so many withdrawals  from many  over a course of time.

We don't actually encourage quitters  lol  In fact quite the opposite.

We have turned away over 900 applicants  - Quality not quantity...

Ps  why are you so against inactivity, when you joined the GS site on July 7th   for all of 1 day  only never to return?  Hypocracy?

When i decide to reopen the doors  for probably  another 500+ applications I will certainly see who gets in and who doesn't.  As regards satisfaction, yep  with over 1500 games each year we are VERY satisfied using a proven system that allows all a fair chance.

PS  a few of our long standing members (out of the 500+ registered members were amateurs at one stage)

    Stick to what you know......NOTHING

Many thanks for taking such an in-depth interest in our club...But I would suggest you mosey on back to yours  and keep ya nose out !
