  winds are bs of late ,im dinging more shots at worse close to ding more then ever lately and  ive had such varied results from 14-16 side winds not even playing 5 yardsworth of wind  to playing up to a 22yrd wind. It's Manipulation wgt and you know it as well as i do and its costing more and more money each week.Am at the point where i will be releasing evidence of this manipulation for all to see am past the point of caring.....

  I think the wind is what most people miss judge. It's hard to assess at times. Burchell said it was probably bad programming since they changed it to approximately a certain wind. But whether or not it is -- it's a benefit for wgt at this point with all this slow meter and auto dinging crap.

  I personally think wgt made the wind hard to judge on purpose to make it difficult for cheaters. Hopefully these cheaters don't figure out the wind.

  Agreed.  I think having variable wind is a good thing, I've never yet experienced a real life wind that was a consistent strength and direction.  Wind swirls and gusts in real life, reading it 100% accurately is impossible.  The same should apply here.

  Many of us have become too used to playing approach shots from 200 yards and being disappointed if we leave a putt that's longer than 10 feet.  That kind of thing is all very nice but hardly realistic.

  How could say a 10-12 mph be any more difficult to judge than a straight 11 mph wind?  At most you'll be 1 mph off if you choose 11 mph.  The game needs to be able to change speed from 0 to say 10 mph and see it on the fly.  If they do that they could pretty much turn the VEM way down as the wind can blow mid air and send you long/short or left/right.

  There has to be a way for them to make and show a variable wind speed.  The wind direction already changes very slightly if you watch closely.

  They did that when they added the second # . Thats a 3 mph variable wind speed .

  It's a 1 mph if you choose the middle.  That's still within about a yard if you have everything dialed in.  That really does absolutely nothing in my opinion.  Inside 1 yard and it's tap in birdie.

  hi all. never thought much about this v.e.m thing,i havejust played a couple of rounds,i have the 3 cleveland higher level wedges,great clubs,i have them a long time and have them down to a tee,pardon the punn ..what happened in the 2 rounds i just played was weird to say the least. they all went about 6 footpast the hole everytime,i always put within a yard of the hole previously without even thinking about it.the shots were in the 10 to 20 yd range.

  is this  the dreaded v.e.m in play
