  54% NO with just 7 districts left to report ...

  they are calling a big NO on the news here...

  Well Salmond has just read his well prepared defeat speech  - it's over after the people voted no.  

  The FTSE has jumped up, and the £sterling now soaring high. 

  Hopefully it is now laid to rest for a very long time.

  Well, it is decided. I suppose...while the "majority rule" scheme is in place most everywhere, I dislike it when it is in the simple. If 540 people want and 460 don't want, what has been solved ? I am much in favor of a 2/3 majority rule rule in most things, and in all things that have a long lasting effect upon everyone in the neighborhood. At times, injury can only be cured by the all healing grave.

  Well, it is decided. I suppose.

  Debate the campaigns all day and anything else all day, but the rules were agreed, and after two years of choice it IS decided.     

  The Union stands, time to work through things in that framework and forget about the other for a LONG time.
