    pricehcs:
    9 holes in 12-13 minutes

    13 mins = 780 seconds

RG's take roughly 31 shots to complete.

Load time for each shot is, we'll say, roughly 6 seconds, so load time for 31 shots is 186 seconds.

    Considering wind/elevation change: 4x31 = 124

    Aiming: 6x31 = 186

    Making wind/elevation adjustments to the distance: 3x31 = 124

Figuring out what percent power to hit in order to get the correct distance: 5x31 =155

Extra time spent on putts: 6x12 =72

    Taking the shot + shot animation: 12x31 = 372

Minimum time require for an even mildly decent round = 1,238 = 20.63 minutes

    20.63 / 13 = 1.587

Your estimate is off by roughly 59%.  You guys think you can play a lot faster than you can actually play.

are we all conspiring to lie to you?

It is the opinion of both myself and WGT staff that you guys are wrong.

Another example,  we used to play a game called "beat the meter"  the whole premise of the game was a 10 second maximum shot clock.   You were not allowed to aim/change clubs/ change shot type, nothing.  All you were allowed to do was alter the power of your shot, and the amount you mishit left or right of whatever club your caddy gave you.

We used to play these games regularly, it's not only very fun, but will also teach you to be a much faster player.  I would never come close to reaching the 10 second maximum unless the meter was jittery enough to force a 2nd swing, and still able to break 40 on 9 holes more often than not.  I think kosei even broke 30 doing this.

There is a ton of strategy in this game in where NOT to miss.  Avoid trouble, and it was easy pars,  find certain bunkers or thistle and it was shot limit exceeded.

And price is one quick mofo!  I don't think i've ever seen him take more than 20 seconds to hit a shot, and I played a ryder cup match with him yesterday.

That is just plain wrong,  I've seen icon, jake, price, post great rounds in 12 minutes or less on my friend feed.  Those are probably the 3 fastest players I know of,  look at how many rounds they've played.

Do you think you can beat me while playing in that manner?

If not, and if you're saying he was playing like that, how is he able to shoot in <10 seconds while still managing to outshoot me?  Is he just 10 times better than you, or what?

Look, I'm sorry you don't believe it, and your numbers are almost certainly your own experience with your machine and connection, but my clock doesn't lie.  And I don't spend the time you do on each shot.  Again, why would I make this up???  I've played over 2000 RG tourneys, many right at the deadline of the 12 hr window after registering the night before.  I know exactly when I have to start to get it in.  Really.  Honestly.  Truly.

Judging from the fact that Iconian has a 12 ft AVG DTP, and you have an 11 ft AVG DTP, I'd have to say that Iconian has, on average, slightly harder putts than you do.

Taking that into consideration, the fact that Iconian has 69.32% one-putt percentage, and you have a 67.72% one-putt percentage, means that Iconian is the #1 best putter in the game right now.

I have a (very, very) hard time believing that people can absolutely blow me out of the water on putting despite only allegedly taking somewhere along the lines of half as much time as I do on my putts.  That is really quite amazing, and if you guys want to explain how you're able to do it, I'm all ears.

At the alleged rate you guys can accomplish perfection, I have to recommend becoming programmers.  I bet if you guys could produce Windows, Linux, Firefox, or at least a WGT clone over brunch.

Icon has also driver-putted thousands of times, look at his choke-relief award.  His #'s are severely skewed.

edit- icon hits 95% of his putts within 15 seconds, and is one of the best putters on the game.  We can play 18 holes together in under an hour, and have done so many many times, and still post as low of scores as anyone.

Personally I average 20/40 min per round, 9 and 18 hole respectively. And I really consider myself a pretty deliberate player. So I could easily see someone doing 9 hole rounds in 12-15 minutes. Of course I never wait for a 30 second mark though, lol.
