From what I've seen of late, it's because they won't make any money off of it.

    SweetiePie:

along this train, I would simply love to see the Confederate Flag for display for folks still beholden to it .. a bit of Southern antebelum

This is one of the most disgusting posts i've ever read.

Maybe WGT can get you an avatar with a white robe and hood.

I am totally shocked that in this day and age, or ANY day and age, someone would actually say something like this.

Tyvm Andyson, this ISO link is the first explanation to me why Antarctica would be in WGT's list. I wonder, though, which gambling laws would apply since Antarctica has no legislation of it's own ;)

But, IMHO, as a company WGT aren't limited to that list (have hope, Zio!) and might enter the different coveted country flags under the same (UK) legislation.

And earn some money from it - at least as much as a county avatar costs.

There is some debate about what the official flag for N. Ireland should be but that debate isn't for here.

"This flag is a banner of the arms of the old Government of Northern Ireland. The flag ceased to be official in 1973, but continues to be used by Unionists. On no account should it be used for official purposes."

You are proposing WGT use this flag and saying it's not for debate here?

No, I used that as an example and mentioned that there was a debate on it's use.

I propose WGT use whatever real life N. Irish pro's have beside their names on leaderboards and listings.

Then you may be further "shocked" & "educated" by something that was said in the mid-nineteenth century to a French and English delegation in Paris and London when tribal leaders in Gambia, the Congo, Dahomey, and other African nations that had prospered with the slave trade business, had sent delegates there, and as one African chief stated that he wanted three things --- food-stuffs, alcohol, and weapons --- and he had three things to exchange for them --- men, woman, and children

How about someone saying something like that ?

You sure about that? Did you watch the saved replay?

I'm surprised that anyone would be surprised by anything people do or say now days! An era of extremes for sure...anyone ever hear the word "moderate" used in a political conversation anymore! lol

There is no debate, that flag is not used for anything official as it's extremely divisive.

So you're not proposing they use that one?

.......and I'm assuming you know the answer, so you are proposing they use that one.

Real life N Irish pro's don't play this computer game (or not very many), real life N Irish people do.  I just reckon roughly half really wouldn't like having that flag, I suppose the reality may be that some of them would choose another and possibly already do.  However there will also be some that don't want to use either and shouldn't have something so divisive as "their countries" flag.

I don't really want to get into an argument about this either but I just hate religious bigotry, and I'm accusing the flag of it not you.
