  I'm sure they are afraid.

  First, these things are treated as business secrets - the competition listens...

  Second, once they'd give a reason, there'd be plenty of counterarguments which can be easily avoided by the main principle of this hold-your-tongue tribe: Pssst!

  Hi icon,

  The latest response came almost 5 months ago (which I've quoted in the original post).

  We haven't heard anything since but are all hopeful that the folks at WGT will see that this is obviously a very good idea with a lot of support that would improve the game and have the devs work on it (if they're not already).

  Of course the standard response is 'don't hold your breath, WGT won't do anything' but I want to steer away from negative opinions right or wrong about what WGT may or may not do according to people's suggestions. Instead many of us just want to show solidarity in support for this idea and encourage WGT to support it too by giving it the green light.

  Many of us have been eagerly anticipating this change for a long time. So I hope that this thread will help to reinforce those ideas generated in previous threads and present a way in which this could be achieved.

  I've been encouraged by a message this morning to suggest that it will be presented again to the devs.

  I am a British citizen but a true Englishman who would welcome the chance to play under the flag of my country.

  Wgt has already shown that they can easily change the flags on sticks and tee-box markers. how much harder could it be to create 3 new flags?

  What makes this situation even more ridiculous is that WGT already have the individual flags in their database!!

  I don't know you KHJ... and when it comes to epic golf battles (Ryder Cup), you are the enemy...

  ...however, I totally agree that you and others should have the correct flag.  IMO, I would have thought it to be an automatic option when creating a profile.  You deserve your flag just as we any others deserve ours. You even asked nice too, so PLEASEEEEEE WGT, fix this for the homey's.  Give KHJ his English St. George's Cross flag.
