I really think that it should be owner and officers only to start these. There could be cases when a new member that doesn't understand these things starting one off when there are other events going on within the club.

We posted the CC clash format in our forum to let all know what is taking place, it seemed to help!

Well I am fashionably late to the party, first saw this when I was at the airport and did not have time to really see what th fuss was about.

So instead of focusing on the bad, I will look at the positive.

WGT now have a stableford system (modified) that should be introduced to CC Tournaments at some stage (hopefully soon).

The principal of CC Clashes is good (I will not cover the bad lol)

    Thats it folks.

Of course if a British club is matched against an Australian club the outcome will depend on which team are asleep.

Bizarre someone is lapping us from another club and I don't know that he's playing the same Clash event I am.  More power to him for figuring it out but something is off.

Unless the duration of a clash is prolonged to 12+ hours (events >4 days),
ev1 wanting to support his CC by buying a CC pass will have to do so in each consecutive round, due to the reset of the free pass's 12 hours availability delay.

I thought the reset was just for the free pass? I would assume you can buy as many passes as you want from the Pro Shop and use them whenever.

So WGT is hoping everyone is so wrapped up in the competition that there's a frenzy of players buying club passes to win points for the club and use them in the clash before the time expires but it would seem that instead all it's done is anger players who see it as an ill-conceived greedy cash grab.

This is what I wanted to say - see the edit above.

Well you do get these for just entering, which is a nice touch. Free Tee markers & Pin Flags for your country club tournaments.
