Off topic, but has to be asked.

Will WGT still hold the meet & greet? Shoe is going to get pummeled with questions for sure.

Naaw, sure it'll be alright Rich...

Questions about many aspects of the game for sure, but a "hi good to put a face to the name, how was the flight etc " would be my opening gambit.

The ppl who make the effort to meet tu tu / shoe will be sane..

Wish he was coming anywhere in Europe, I'd be on a plane in a flash..

Which ^^^ may just have deflated my sanity premise ? :-)

    Andy

EDIT :-  bet they get to a laptop and have a coupla holes  ?

Although this behavior was not intended it was not against the rules.

What rules would those be, Admin?  The Stableford scoring rules?

Colour me slow...but I'm gonna' need me a bit more of the explainables and whatnot on that one.

In related news, I hear the 49'ers beat the Giants 35-2 last night....

Very good Shoe. I hope all have fun.

Hopefully WGT can schedule a meet and greet in downtown St. Louis. I'll be there. There's an Internet cafe on every corner.

Hmmm...I actually thought that online scams originated in Nigeria.

Not this time, I suppose the idea has evolved!

Someone did mention, where is Chad in all this debacle........probably laughing his ass off.

Where is Chad?  Funny you should mention...right next to Nigeria, of course.

Well, I see who has the shiny new gold putter.  Good thing to since he apparently really likes to play the Best of Putting challenge.....

I guess circumventing the rules is allowed now, possibly even encouraged by WGT.  Shame.

It doesn't take a 160 IQ to see that this brainstorm of someone at WGT has been somewhat less than wonderful unless, of course, the intent was to alienate players who wonder at inequities in the game equipment and why anyone should be allowed to have any club with specs double those of clubs mere mortals can purchase.  I suppose no one thought about whether the new super putter will be allowed in RG, Brackets, Monthly and Weekly tournaments, matches, and any other method WGT devises to relieve people of credits for themselves or the possessor of the magic gold putter.

Is this really what players are to expect now?  If so, then I know why you have lost players in the past because, frankly, I am becoming disillusioned by the twists and turns of the last couple of months.

How much money (credits) will be enough to satisfy the greed?  How many ads, surveys, equipment sales, et al will be enough?  How many marketing schemes will we have to tolerate?

The only thing we won was the option to buy that putter, and at 400,000 credits it is probably out of the price range of anyone that would benefit substantially from it. But I'm waiting to see if one of my team mates is going to fork over the big fee and post single digit scores on the putting ctth. Love me a whole set of gold max clubs!

    Who?

I'm interested to hear how it putts.  Can somebody who has it give us all some feedback pls.

Looking at the specs, I get the thinking you just have to hit a putt and it will go in all the time.

    Just curious
