How about something like this:
1) Give the club owner the ability to enter his club in a clash.
WGTdbloshoe: 1. Not going to happen.
just like that huh?
You all want answers, so I gave you the honest blunt answer. Sorry.

However DB, I did see you make mention that Owners & Officers may have the option, instead of just the single owner.
That would be a nice step in the right direction.
WGT's decisions are never about doing the 'right thing' they're about doing the 'most profitable thing' hence the short, direct response.
WGT wants as many clubs (players) to enter as possible. More entries mean more players wasting money on club passes. They don't care whether it goes against the wishes of the club owner or officers as long as someone clicks the button.
Someone posted something about cautioning or kicking members who entered their club (going against the club's position of not entering) and WGT responded. They don't want players penalized for entering clubs into the clash, they simply want clubs to enter regardless of what the owner/officers think because once that button is pushed it's all about $$$.
I agree with you guys that it would be a step in the right direction but it won't happen. The best an owner can do is add their support against the clash event by putting the name of their club on this thread.
Players who wish to join my club are briefed that we are not participating in any future clashes until it improves.
