All this crap equates to is, whoever can play the most games in the shortest amount of time,,,,that's it! What kind of competition is that. Ridiculous WGT,,,absolutely ridiculous.

    jayw4862:

I am ashamed to say that I FOOLISHLY participated in this "cash grab" (bought 1 pass-1st and last EVER-I won't buy a CC pass even for CC xp's-sorry courteney). I apologize to my fellow CC members and the WGTer's with IQ's above 70. I had just woke up, and cliked to play. I didn't get to do the last one, but I being STUPID, and forgetting all the comments from before, I found myself being a SUCKER!!

I love this site, but I wouldn't ever, ever play in anything that requires me to BUY something to participate, again!!! I'd rather throw my credits away losing RiG's!!

Because of the "courses" that are PAST due to be implemented, I honestly believe WGT just might be "cashing out". I don't have to state my reasons, most already know.

In the last month, the ONLY positive thing WGT has done for it's customers is give the twitch watchers a free ball. What a shame.

And then to do a "downtime" just to grab some cash from the foolish ones (like me today, albeit only 37 credits).

Get more disconcerted with this site daily. It could be the best, even when the "other" ones do come out in full force.

Reminds me of a sales seminar I took years ago.

On the last day, the speaker/teacher said "Remember, when the customer leaves, we want his/her smile this wide (he held his hands about 1 foot apart), and we want their a**h*le's this wide (and he held his hands as far apart as possible). In other words...REAM 'em out, and make them believe they enjoyed it.

Oh well, my 1st and last rant about this CC v CC Cash, and WGT overall. VEM me up Scotty :-)

I just want to point out one thing for everyone who is claiming cash grab.... 10,000 passes bought equals $3,700.  We are talking about months of time devoted to create this type of event.  That's game developers, engineers, QA testing, and then people like me to deal with all your hatred about it lol.  So if you think 3,700 dollars covers all that, I got a bridge to sell you.  I can tell you 10k worth of passes were not bought the last clash.  Not even close.

Could be worse at least there's no sign of the golden wedges, maybe McCain or some such objected to use of the name.

    Who's leading?

With all due respect Shoe (and I believe you deserve it) If the thing had been run fairly there would not be any complaints about buying passes. Nothing said about the unfairness of the 1st one by you guys, and then you try to force another one on us without changing anything we complained about.

And your surprised we are upset?

doesnt seem to me that amount of time was taken to implement this - it actually felt slapped together with a bit of happy paint and a few bottles of bourbon.

remove the midas putter from the POS that got it last round and u will have better participation.

that should never have been awarded in the first place, im sure that point was made clear enough in other threads.

what really irks me is that u think theres hatred, that a wrong word to use - maybe giant facepalm to the head cos of past decisions made , but not hatred.

its more disappointment that u didnt fix what was fixable in the first place, then continue to ignore it and release another version of the same thing.

so instead of hatred there should be disappointment, disillusionment, any other synonym.

I wonder what part of the general public they heard from that pushed this to the top of the must do list?  surely not these forums.  I wonder if it's those top players we never see making posts in here lol

i'd say that deciding to spend that time and money you mention shoe, was not one made on wgt player behalf - it can be run differently but would be less profitable I would suspect.  the only feedback that matters is how much money is made back to pay for it.

Respectfully feller as nothing against you at all, and I realise you are the contact point only here largely as well:

There are several things in this place that could be improved.  Players been told got to work with us as limited resource etc.  There is no getting away from the fact that is is plain nuts though, and not a competition at all - well not if the measure is needing to be better than any one else is involved.

Look you have all the comments from all the threads to read so not repeating it here, but I will say they wasted there time completely, and should have been doing something useful.

Not wishing to get at you at all, but this is a dreadful folly, and actually just looks aimed at ripping people off.  OK one born every minute, but Richard Branson is successful without being seen as a cheap rip off artist.  Whole thing is almost inexplicable to me how it got beyond someone being told not to be so daft the moment it was mentioned.

Then why dont you listen to your customers might end up making more money that way.
2nd round in this cc clashes & nothing has changed, still just a slog feast.

Whatever club spends the most wins what kind of competition is that.

Why dont you go back through all them pages from the last clash and see what us members really want.

Take back the golden putter from the person who obtained it FRAUDULENTLY (a player who wins enough any way without needing to fleece us even easier) and maybe a few players might feel a bit more at ease with the whole fiasco.  Its like every thing has been brushed under the carpet.  A "who spends the most credits tournament" Is SOOOO FUNNY!!

What next, a tournament which lets you sell all your clubs and start again on ZERO XP and level Zero and first one to reach level 100 gets a golden noob to stick on his head??  (damn I've patented that idea just in case chad is reading)

Hey you know - I just posted in my CC that the Gnomes might be kinda fun

    BUT

Only if they were made out of plaster

    AND

you could smash one with your driver and make it blow up in a big poof after a meter jump where your ball hits the trees on Olympic.

Just saying this could be fun IF IF - oh well never mind it ain't going to happen.

    I will not participate either....
