I am ashamed to say that I FOOLISHLY participated in this "cash grab" (bought 1 pass-1st and last EVER-I won't buy a CC pass even for CC xp's-sorry courteney). I apologize to my fellow CC members and the WGTer's with IQ's above 70. I had just woke up, and cliked to play. I didn't get to do the last one, but I being STUPID, and forgetting all the comments from before, I found myself being a SUCKER!!

I love this site, but I wouldn't ever, ever play in anything that requires me to BUY something to participate, again!!! I'd rather throw my credits away losing RiG's!!

Because of the "courses" that are PAST due to be implemented, I honestly believe WGT just might be "cashing out". I don't have to state my reasons, most already know.

In the last month, the ONLY positive thing WGT has done for it's customers is give the twitch watchers a free ball. What a shame.

And then to do a "downtime" just to grab some cash from the foolish ones (like me today, albeit only 37 credits).

Get more disconcerted with this site daily. It could be the best, even when the "other" ones do come out in full force.

Reminds me of a sales seminar I took years ago.

On the last day, the speaker/teacher said "Remember, when the customer leaves, we want his/her smile this wide (he held his hands about 1 foot apart), and we want their a**h*le's this wide (and he held his hands as far apart as possible). In other words...REAM 'em out, and make them believe they enjoyed it.

Oh well, my 1st and last rant about this CC v CC Cash, and WGT overall. VEM me up Scotty :-)

I just want to point out one thing for everyone who is claiming cash grab.... 10,000 passes bought equals $3,700.  We are talking about months of time devoted to create this type of event.  That's game developers, engineers, QA testing, and then people like me to deal with all your hatred about it lol.  So if you think 3,700 dollars covers all that, I got a bridge to sell you.  I can tell you 10k worth of passes were not bought the last clash.  Not even close.

My heart goes out to Chad and his cash strapped site.  Just think, if all the time and effort for this supposedly money losing venture was spent on fixing all the crap that's been stuck in the cracks for years, we all might have a site, and a game that works fairly for everyone.

Look at it this way, there's a Food Stamp program and welfare if you clowns go broke on this Gnome selling venture, loads of working stiiffs have to use Food Stamps, so you wouldn't be alone.

Events that require participation of the members but carry the name of the Club need a safety so that a single member cannot enter the whole club.  Should be through the owner and the officers.  I'm sorry to see The Bushwackin Bandits name as taking part when it was a member that entered us.  Had a post in the Clubs forums and a message on the Clubs home page...we had planned to sit out.  Again Owner and Officers should be the only ones to make decisions for their club....

With all due respect Shoe (and I believe you deserve it) If the thing had been run fairly there would not be any complaints about buying passes. Nothing said about the unfairness of the 1st one by you guys, and then you try to force another one on us without changing anything we complained about.

And your surprised we are upset?

I don't believe anyone here claimed that the first one was completely fair.  We know and understand the first was left a lot to be desired.  Which is why we made the changes and what we feel are improvements.  Is there more work to be done?  I believe so and I doubt anyone here would say this is perfect yet.  Does that mean though we are still not going to run clashes? Nope, we have had a lot of visceral responses from the forums, but we have also received a lot of feedback from players who enjoyed it.

My suggestion is to play the event and have fun with it if you want.  If you don't want to play then, that of course is your choice.  I would definitely caution CC Owners to not bar their members from playing.  If they want to play let them.  If they want to purchases passes or just use their free ones, let them.  Just because you are not happy with the set up, doesn't mean everyone feels the same.

I'm sitting this one out as well, our CC with 26 members is 'evenly matched' against one with140, money making scam

Nope - you're matched against any of those big number, heavy on credits CCs which came closer to a win last time. The perverted the community's wish of CC vs CC comps 'cause of their greed.

We won one of three clashes last time, finishing at an undisclosed thousandish (sp?) place - no proof to be found in retrospective. I only hope that my members know what to do NOT: purchase passes!

Shoe come on, man I deal with programs in my business, it may take me 2 hours to draw and put together a cabinet , but when I want to recall it it takes 2 seconds ,now take how many players are in WGT , now how many by balls a day, so don't play that card.

Pulling up that ball is just as fast as me pulling up a cabinet, now how much do you guys charge for balls? $7.00 for 3 in 2 seconds, X how many players a day

If this debacle wasn't rolled out again for profit, do tell exactly what was the motivation feller?   :)

Then WGT you should have listened to what the members wanted in a CC event instead of letting someone dream up a really bad format without knowing how CC operate and how they want an inter CC event to run.

Oh and may I ask - who exactly did the QA testing for any of this year's updates?

Did WGT have 2 CCs test it in a mini-clash before you rolled it out for all WGT last month?

Did WGT even ask anyone in a Country Club if the clash idea was a good idea before spending all that programing time?

    Come clean now....

Even Palin knows that you can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig.

If the owner does not want his/her club to participate, then no member should join the CC clash.  The owner has spent years building the club and maybe gifting players stuff.  members should respect the club owners wishes even if they do not agree with them.  You mods have had to back WGT's decisions and make excuses for them even though at times you might feel they are lame ones.

You lot are just "panicking" because you feel players will not spend $$ on passes for a CLASH that achieves NOTHING useful for their CC

Your response accomplishes one thing and one thing only - It clearly shows that either you, as you are the one responding,  and/or WGT management do not understand nor comprehend what the vast majority of the player base, your customers, have taken issue with.

If you honestly believe it's simply about paying for CC passes, well... not much more anyone can say really besides the 8 billion posts in 'that other thread'

Props for stickin your head in here though man..... It's a start....  ;)
