  This has nothing to do with politics, Ireland or any other country. This is about USA and British Wounded Warriors & Veterans. People who criticize other peoples efforts do so because they can not come up with something useful to do with their own lives so they feel a need to try drag others down to their level. PATHETIC

  It is simple, if you don't like it or agree with it then LEAVE IT...

  Let me see if I have this correct?

  You are an animal protection and welfare charity est. in 2010 and are soliciting donations for wounded warriors?

  Your Organization receives a substantial part of its support from a governmental entity and public donations as described in IRC 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi)? 

  Your only official website is on FB and a WIX website that includes WGT affiliation?

  So, what exactly are you soliciting charitable donations for: horse protection and welfare or wounded warriors. Mr / Mrs. M?

  Doing my best to steer clear of any minefields here in debate.

  I looked at the site, and what could possibly be wrong with it.  Yes governments waste too much money in the wrong direction, and too often.  This is nothing to do with that though as this is about individuals who have served to protect cherished freedoms.  

  Sometimes these people do it with not enough funds directed at them, to help them in time of need, both at the point and after.  Ideally there should be no need for this as our governments should be helping these heroes more.  Is what is though, and and $19 from anyone that can afford it, and so used so well looks a great thing.

  EDIT: Respectfully though a point I do usually ask before any donation  to a charity is if it is registered, and what assurances those funds go where they are aimed.  I could not see that so anything you can say in that direction would be great.  No offense meant, may have missed it and that clear to all might even help raise more for such a great cause:)

  EDIT 2; Scrolled down the web page some more after reading Ks post above.  Well meaning as the intent I am sure is you seriously need to clear some things up with direct links to registration, and examples maybe of what you have done so far (live linked).  Lots of charities out there and great as the cause is we all want to be seen to be way above board, including what % goes to the cause, I am sure you would agree,

  Had you read anything about this fundraiser on our website before you shot off your mouth you would have seen right on our front page it says....

  We care for the horses, provide water, feed, shelter and much more, we pay for the wounded warriors and veterans therapy riding sessions through donations and funds raised through various sponsors, fundraising promotions and programs.

  My overall and final consensus IS - There is more support for this kind of fundraiser than are against it.

  Look I m as guilty as anyone for not thinking twice as to how I actually want to come across, and fk it up:)

  Fundamentally looking after these heroes in this way is a fantastic thing.  There are so very many please gives out there, and people get told to be careful etc etc 

  Personally I quite like animals and stand back in blind admiration for the heroes that have paid a price protecting our freedom, and so a few things clearer (even if were on the website anyway) fantastic stuff.  I really hope some $s go the way of such a great thing.

  EDIT: I was going to come back to this as kind of never sat easy with me.  Any vet is a great cause, but what K9 is asking is more than reasonable?  Don't see any issues with addressing every point / explaining more fully how everyone knows to check this out if any one missing a point or tree??

  Firstly, as a female member of the US Army (Reserve) and having served 3 rotations during OIF, I take exception to anybody that is claiming to be helping vets by charitable donation. Especially when they are giving monetary awards to people who donate $19 or more. This gives me every right to ask you questions. I will not divulge what my civilian job is...just yet.
