Is it a bug that Pinehurst #1 hole you shoot your teeshot 1st shot then your next shot it says your shooting for a birdie putt 3rd shot - so your 2nd shot gets skipped entirely - i have noticed that other holes do this as well - is there any maintenance done on this game to fix these errors like this is the ?

It sounds like you might have the boost on in which case if you blink you missed the rendering of the shot. WGT recently gave boosts out and surprised a few players. Do the shots happen really fast?

In the Game Settings there is an option to turn that boost off.

I have never had it happen on any Pinecone holes , but I have had it happen at random times just about anywhere else , mostly in a multi-player game and sometimes after a "load assets time-out error."

I never use speedy boost, Jim, yet it happens, albeit rarely. It confuses the crap outta you when it does happen..LOL

@ OP - just sit back and laugh it off. I doubt WGT engineers can even figure out why it happens. It may help, when you notice it, to right click the screen and send a bug report so they can see what's causing it. Like I said, it's a pretty rare occurrence.

Now that you mention it, an intermittent  slow load could definitely cause it. Like sometimes after you take a shot and you don't get to see the landing, just the golfer pose after the swing.
