Well the current leader in the debacle (IB...CC) has certainly done their homework learning from the previous, ahem. so called winner.

Yep new AMs and above loaded in v recently.  Looking quick one is beavering away for that CC having only joined WGT last week.

What a complete and utter shower of crap this thing is any which way, even if I don't get why they care.

Could there not even be a pretence of some skill needed WGT??? Something where it half matters what the score is sometimes???

You're wasting your words I'm afraid Jim.   There seems to be no end to the insanity running through WGT these days.

Dog tee markers?  As if there isn't enough shite in the world already.

I honestly think these stupid clashes may be the worst thing that ever happened to this game.

    @Shoe,

You say the forums are for feedback, but when you guys get feedback from the highest tenured players, WGT ignores the feedback.

WGT definitely knows the Clashes are fouled up, but refuses to do anything about it. WGT would fair much better listening to tenured players to sort the CC Clashes into something worth wild, like being competitive for one.

Whether you admit it or not Shoe, right now the CC Clash is a disaster.

I agree 100% Richard. But, the reality is that poor Shoe is only doing what he's told to do, and that's "be online during this debacle". Don't know why Shoe gets stuck working every Clash.

Too bad the owners of WGT turn a deaf ear to anyone and everyone, no matter how long they've been a loyal member/player, or how much money they've spent. I've only been here 18 months and I have found one thing is 100% guaranteed, and absolutely certain, in these forums. Our opinions/wants/ideas/needs/thoughts don't mean S**T to those running the show and never, ever will.

One can look back through the owners/inventors/investors background (all the way back to the early 90's) and see one thing, they know how to make money. Can't fault 'em for that.

With that said, I'll just keep on hacking away and reminding myself that this is just a game with no meaning whatsoever. Just a time-killer, and cheaper than real golf.

THIS CLASH IS POINTLESS, I have just been drawn against a country club who does not know it has been entered to play against me  (similar to what happened to me in previous post)  How can you be drawn to play against a country club who does not know you are competing against them.   Its easy win, and makes the whole system a FARCE!

You can use your free passes.

    Shameless.

    Explain.

You're telling every one "they can use their FREE PASSES, whilst YOUR COUNTRY CLUB is sitting top of the leaderboard, obviously spending loads on passes to be able to get to the top, you probably know that using free passes will get the other country clubs NO WHERE.  The quest for the golden fleece putter is getting closer.

(personally, i think its a sad waste of time and effort,  Getting rewarded for the most players purchasing something rather than skill.  This will be WGT's downfall,,greed, and then after players have spent all that $ in winning, they get a big finger in the face by the means of a DOG!   Who thinks of these ideas???

As far as that putter goes Chris, Miss C has stated in the club forum she wants no part of it even if TPC won this sham. She's a class owner who knows that the putter would bring nothing but hard feelings amongst club members, and has stated she wouldn't accept it unless it could be sold. I've read your knack for unnecessary drama in the past, so I'm not surprised by your post. You would be wise to get your facts straight before you start firing from the hip.

I stated my opinion to our entire club in our forum, and that was the only way to make this disaster of a comp go away was to stay away, but obviously my pleas feel on deaf ears. The members who have chosen to participate are only doing it for a sense of club pride, and here again is where the greed driven developers of WGT are preying on the players club pride. I harbor no ill feeling for my fellow club members that have participated, but just wish they could see that a total boycott by every WGT player is the only way WGT will come up with a CC comp that doesn't ring hollow. (Except in WGT's cash register where the noise must be deafening.)

If only all the resources and efforts to run three of these THINGS were spent on fixing existing problems that have been going on here since I started playing, we just might have a quality game unmatched by any other on the web.

+1  Unless they ( Da dogs) are going to be used the run the Lil' Bastads (the G-nomes) off of the various courses when seen.  Just a thought!!
