What a simple question it was and a good one.
As our club was entered by one of my members, I decided to give it a go (1st one for me). I only played 3 games (purchased passes). Not sure how many of our guys played, but I would say about 10, if that, using free passes (only a guess as my guys are not too financial)
We won 6 from 9 and sitting 131st at the moment. That could change as we can't start another one. So it really wouldn't take much to finish higher than we did.
Back to the OP's Question and I have a suggestion to make relating to it.
I think the answer to all our problems is to play those Events for free. Use of a Pass doubles your points... Super Pass triples your Points.
When the box comes up before you start play, replace the 'quit' button with 'continue' and play the event for free or click 'Use/Buy Pass'
You will still get people buying passes for the extra points, but everybody can play for free.
Yes, I know people will play a bucket load of games.. they play the same for our major comps anyway. If they buy passes, then more points for the club.
