Why is it that the only way I can play in this event is I have to purchase and pass?

    It is for the revenue.

LMFAO. How innocent is this simple question?

Nothing on you Sticky but you  have stumbled upon what makes the entire clash thing an absolute joke. It isn't about how good you are, how good a playing partner you are, how good a teammate you are or how tight your CC is. It's about how many times you want to throw 37 credits at a Golden Fleece, a gnome or an ugly dog. (This is starting to sound like  something out of a Rudyard Kipling novel.)

The clash has turned into a mash fest. It's about who can play the most rounds in a given period of time @37 credits per round. Buy your own balls, too, there isn't a neat little pyramid of brand new Nikes sitting on the driving range for you either.

For all of you who believe YJ is nothing but a WGT apologist, I hope you read his post. Oh & for the record I agree.

    Things to be avoided:

    1. The Plague

    2. CC Events

    3. Godzilla's mother-in-law

I assume the (winner?) of the last 2 "events" is running away with this one?

you'd think so - but an apparent change of heart has them down the list - It would be good business and my bet that wgt bought them off for this round - hush money (or balls or whatever) -
