I agree with all of you, the cost of this game is ridiculous. Any way i have a complaint of my own. how about WGT fixing some of the bugs that they have put in this game when they do stupid upgrades like the STUPID XP boost drink , so everyone can level up faster to make them want to spend money on unlocked clubs. How about fixing some of these problems:                                                                                                                                                                      1.   Freeze ups when you try to view a replay.                                                                                    2. Not being able to invite someone if they are hidden( says they are offline now)                  3. when  I first  get on my profile or reading forums or whatever and someone invites me to play, my game locks up  because i haven't clicked the play now button( as far as I know this was never like this either)                                                                                                              4. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE MAKE THE PRACTICE ROUNDS WHERE WE CAN CHOOSE TOURNAMENT SPEED GREENS(I have seen some masters and im sure people in lower tiers that need the practice)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       ITS NOT ALL ABOUT MAKING MONEY ITS ALSO ABOUT KEEPING YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY   :-(

hah exactly.. but the bad thing is is that it just wont change.. lol the prices are always going to be like this no matter what.

and borntobesting...lol  im the same as you. i put in 3 dollars into this game, and have gotten a driver, irons, putter, and many balls.  but all of the offers other than the netflix are awful.  i wudnt purchase any of that to be honest.

I am all about people expressing their opinion but I get so aggravated when some dumba$$ offers a link to a nonexistent site. Yea.. it's late.. just venting...

i wouldnt spend one cent on this"game",,like he said,,120yrds perfectly hit and it goes nowhere, and the same for the chip shots from the edge of the green,,12 yrd chip,,hit it full with a 9 yard chip, and u dont even make the green,,,so its a money spinning revenue thats all,,,,,i buy golf balls,,use em 2 or 3 times,,,and all of a sudden, theyre gone for whatever reason,so u gotta buy more,,,and it dont matter where u put the spin dot on the ball,,,it has no stopping or reverse spin at all,,,,,,,,,,,

Hi, i been saying the same thing for weeks, all facebook games are about money even though they say free, just like WGT golf, on the thanksgiving holiday i went thru more balls then i do in a month, its that way on weekends as well, personally i dont think the lag will ever go away untill WGT get's there own servers , this game shouldnt even be in Beta, i mean give me a break going on 4 years in Beta, there is games way more techinacal then this game will ever be that spend only 6 months to a year in Beta, i love playing golf but not so far as to spend any more then i already have on this game, i will quit rounds if i am shooting very well so i dont advance to Legend Tier where in order for me to play fairly descent at that legend tiers ill have to purchase a new driver, i just spent all my credits yesterday on cheap balls, when those balls are gone im gone, ill play Tigger Woods golf graphics may not be the greatest but ide rather pay a year membership to play then to pay out my tail here at WGT,

I also agree with the original poster's comments.  Hit a club perfectly with very little or even a following wind, and it comes up 30 yards short.  And as for putting spin on the ball, doesn't happen, at least not with the default ball.  Also, when playing CTTH or blitz games, you can hit a full sand wedge and the ball will jump and run a mile.  Hit a driver into the green and it stops dead.  Mimics real golf?  I don't think so!  I think they've got their programming all wrong!

And with regards to WGTicon's comment, yes, the game is free to play, but it is so frustrating when it is so inconsistent.  You say it requires committment if you want to win.  Well, in that case maybe you should first show some committment to members by fixing the many bugs people keep talking about.  I have asked on this forum AND emailed support to find out how to stop the stupid swing and pro shop lessons that keep coming up EVERY time I connect to WGT, but no one from support has made any attempt to reply.  So, if you're not going to help me, why should I help you by giving you my hard-earned money?

    Golly gosh.

Lots of empty prams about hey?Well when I started here in September,I too felt like that, because my game was frankly rubbish, and I experienced all of those up shorts, off piste,in the bunker "glitches" that seem to dominate this post. And then I calmed down, began to actually understand the dynamics a little, and best of all, started to shoot lower numbers. Not every day,I'll admit, but with growing consistency.I held on to clubs long enough to learn what they could do,I tried new balls that actually advertise more spin,I bought drivers with more distance-and hey flippin' presto, things began to settle.

Ya,I spent money,I spent maybe $30 which in real money is maybe £15 proper pounds. In 2/3 months.I can spend that in a DAY on coffees,a sandwhich and a lipstick. So lets try to be not harsh on ourselves here,we wouldnt even BE here if we didnt want to be,so for a mere(and ya,it IS mere) 20p per day,I can have all this fun, frustration and companionship.

Take the long view guys, and don't come back and slap me up with all those "You don't know what your'e talking abouts",just think about it,practice some more, and enjoy whats here.If you can't,then no one is making you stay...

PS.If anyone is interested in playing club tournies every week, and going head to head with other CC's,look up The Derbyshire Golf and Country Club, were recruiting right now.

    Lizzie
