  i wouldnt spend one cent on this"game",,like he said,,120yrds perfectly hit and it goes nowhere,and the same for the chip shots from the edge of the green,,12 yrd chip,,hit it full with a 9 yard chip,and u dont even make the green,,,so its a money spinning revenue thats all,,,,,i buy golf balls,,use em 2 or 3 times,,,and all of a sudden,theyre gone for whatever reason,so u gotta buy more,,,and it dont matter where u put the spin dot on the ball,,,it has no stopping or reverse spin at all,,,,,,,,,,,

  You got to pony up and buy better wedges when you can.

  EXACTLY, YAPPY......THOSE WEDGES MAKE ONE HELL OF A DIFFERENCE.....I THOUGHT THE SAME THING UNTIL I PURCHASED A 60 AND A 64......UNREAL DIFFERENCE.....

  It doesn't matter whether it's the TM satins or the Ping W's get either of those wedges and you will notice balls stopping and even backing up. And not just the 60 and 64 degree either. All the Ping W's and TM Satins stop and back up well. And using the punch shot with them fills in the gaps nicely.

  Lots of empty prams about hey?Well when I started here in September,I too felt like that,because my game was frankly rubbish,and I experienced all of those up shorts,off piste,in the bunker "glitches" that seem to dominate this post.And then I calmed down,began to actually understand the dynamics a little,and best of all,started to shoot lower numbers.Not every day,I'll admit,but with growing consistency.I held on to clubs long enough to learn what they could do,I tried new balls that actually advertise more spin,I bought drivers with more distance-and hey flippin' presto,things began to settle.

  Ya,I spent money,I spent maybe $30 which in real money is maybe £15 proper pounds.In 2/3 months.I can spend that in a DAY on coffees,a sandwhich and a lipstick.So lets try to be not harsh on ourselves here,we wouldnt even BE here if we didnt want to be,so for a mere(and ya,it IS mere) 20p per day,I can have all this fun,frustration and companionship.

  Take the long view guys,and don't come back and slap me up with all those "You don't know what your'e talking abouts",just think about it,practice some more,and enjoy whats here.If you can't,then no one is making you stay...

  PS.If anyone is interested in playing club tournies every week,and going head to head with other CC's,look up The Derbyshire Golf and Country Club,were recruiting right now.

  Then just play the game for free, if you don't like playing for free and you don't want to spend $30 max which is really very little money to begin with, then go play something else!

  Seriously, all the people whining about a game costing 30 dollars, listen to yourself. You can't be for real! You can play the game for free yes free! and if you choose to you can put money into the game: I've only had to put in 10 dollars and I have all the clubs I need.

  So stop your complaining fools and get a life maybe a job because apparently you can't afford to spend a little money for a bit of entertainment.

  I guess I didn't read that part when I became a member going on 9 months now.

   

  When I read comments on free and/or very little money spent, coupled with "serious or competitive" player, (3) things come to mind.

  (1) You haven't audited your WGT account and don't know how or where it is.

  (2) Your hiding your CC statement from your mate.

  (3) Your in self denial about being addicted to this game.

   

  addendum...just thought of a forth.

  Wow you are out there pretty far aren't you! lol

  I've been a member of this game for under a month and looking over my account yes I have spent money on Netflix 8 dollars a month which I will likely cancel because I already own most of the movies on there. Then a game site which I got credits for and no longer use. And I've played in and won various match play games and tournaments.

  Yeah no sorry dude, I'm not hiding any statements I've spent under the 10 dollars. This because of taken advantage of free offers, sorry you were unable to figure this out.

  You could work at McDonald's pay and afford this game...hahaha... But maybe not if you have the intelligence of the guys in long white tee shirts and baggy jeans... maybe not then you're right.
