Simple fact is - you'll never know if he had it running while playing unless he comes in here and says so. I don't see it as an open resource running anywhere.
I have no idea who he is, but simply having Cheat Engine installed on your computer isn't proof of anything other than having it installed. It's used to 'break into' Flash games and applications.
There are other programs that do the same thing, running on PC and OSX, it's not the only one, and they are tools, the toolset is something used to debug assets which are supposed to be locked down and secure.
If he knows how, and again, unless anyone has seen him use it? He may have no clue what he's doing, but if he does know what he's doing with it - Running 'Daddy's' calc tool would be kinda moot as he wouldn't need it.
There isn't any way to prevent CE from being used against the client, the only thing WGT can do, and they most certainly can do it, is make sure assets are locked down. One's that affect shooting / scoring ability anyway.
As a side note - Ban this player for having it installed on his computer? WGT better make sure they apply that fairly and equally among the rest of known player's here who've 'installed' it in the past.
Given that's it's now obvious 'top' players have it installed, and you'd have to be pretty friggin' naive to think he's the only one 'playing around' with it. WGT really should implement a zero tolerance policy that if you're caught with it you're done.
We all know WGT has zero integrity where these matters are concerned so I certainly don't expect them to do it on their own.
In saying that, promoting a fair and openly competitive 'gaming' environment where players are 'encouraged' to spend real world money to updgrade equipment if they want any hope of competing in tournaments etc and allowing players who are known to have software installed that does indeed alter the game playing isn't acceptable.
The proof is there, it's been posted here before and now again. WGT operates this game and website absolutely haphazardly with no clear cut rules, the rules are applied with prejudice and in no definable manner at all. Basically they do what they want, and that's fine until you start taking people's money in what clearly falls under the defintion of false and misleading promotion and marketing.
