  LEAGUE UPDATE - DIVISION 2

  I have given both Czech Club "A" and Bordeaux Online "A" an extension to their first week's games to 6 February. 

  Bordeaux Online are on a final warning regarding their participation in the league.

  LEAGUE UPDATE - DISPUTES COMMITTEE

  A disputes committee has been formed to deal with any requests for forfeits or for matches to be declared void or replayed.

  These are:

  • JGtassiedevil, Norman's Webb Collective CC
  • kam4122, English Lakes CC
  • Rocksteady, Rock and Roll Rasta CC
  • Doctortom, Yellow Brick Road CC

  Slor, I have submitted the scores already but wanted to post this anyway because I think it reflects what this competition was all about.

  UKGCE 3-1 Old Log Cabin

  BradySeven v Browning3 was left unplayed, my player informed me he made a number of attempts to get his match played but his opponent was unavailable. Would be great if they could get an extension on that game because all the other matches were superb.

  Two of the matches were won 1up down the last, whilst the other two were halved. Great games and I would like to say to Ricky that his team were great to play against. All my team enjoyed the tough matches.

  Is there a revised League Division & New Fixtures list yet ?

  I've searched for, but can't find it.

  I'm trying very hard to understand the logic behind the actions of Bordeaux Online!

  To begin with they initially wanted to put 4 teams in play!!! They only have 15 total Members. 4 teams would require a min of 20 different players. Now my B team is all excited about play this week and so far, no response from BOCC. As a matter of fact, Idon't see 1 single post in this forum from either of their Captains.

  Things got bogged down in the Fall season with 8 Teams---If they can't field 1 team with a month's notice, what makes anyone think that they are going to show Feb 6.

  Thanks for that explanation, Monty. I see the 4 have been named. Frankly, I feel a committee is unnecessary--its unheard of in Golf. I feel that we could come to an amiable agreement between the 2 of us re: all 3 "disputes" in amatter of 2 or 3 PMs or chatting during a blitz.

  I'm willing if you are. Think about it.
