    doctortom:

I don't think an extension from our end is a problem as long as Slor is happy to wait. We've got Geoff (PSUrangers11) ready to go so hopefully the guys can get together and get it done. I can confirm that he is on US Eastern time and usually plays most weeknights in that timezone.

If we get a couple more days down the line with no movement we can have a rethink about the plan.

    Cheers, T

No issues, it's easy to manage when there are only a couple of matches going.

Still not getting any responses from opposition players at the moment. If I still havent had any news tonight should I just post the one result we have?

    J2daROC:

Well hopefully we can provide one of those miracle runs - next up, Electra...cue the Rocky theme music...

In what may be the most exciting match yet for my squads, our O Canada A team came back from 2 games down to pull of the second upset in a row, and avoid relegation.

Lisa and Tess annihilated two of our top dogs, which was no surprise, but we never say die up here in the Far North. As in most matches, one hole could have swung this the other way - especially in the 1 Up victories by restorethis and ByetheJesus.

All my guys thoroughly enjoyed both matches against you and your crew Lis - hopefully we can renew the rivalry in the spring...but we need one final push here in the Championship!

As for the O Canada B side, my reports as of this minute have us sitting on 2.5 points, with one match in progress and one match utilizing a sub from my bench due to the original selection going M.I.A. Thanks to Europesfinest of SuperCool for his patience...

    Thanks for the update, J.

And I promise that the complications of this format will not be repeated! It could be a crazy run, and hopefully we will have all our results in the morning all...

O Canada B wins over SuperCool A by a score of 4 - 1 (three wins, two halves) in Relegation semis.

With this victory, if I understand the format correctly, our B squad is now done for the season - correct?

Each captain picks one player - same conditions, 18 holes to a finish using as many holes as necessary... Just exchange names with each other as I'm sure there isn't much strategy involved!
