Horrible Performance

  This website has horrible performance for the last 3 days.  Not sure if any maintenance is being done on the site to cause this, but EVERY single member in our club is having issues ranging from games not loading, games freezing, it taking forever to switch views WHILE THE CLOCK CONTINUES TO RUN DOWN, to just getting disconnected from the site for no reason.  Just right now, I rebooted my MAC several times with the same issues and only on this website and just a few minutes after I was having issues, a club member started having the same problems.  Then it got to the point where the main wgt.com screen would load but you couldn't sign in.  What is going on with this site?  I'm in the IT field and this is absolutely horrible.  Please respond and if maintenance is going to be performed, it may be tedious, but at least send out a message to all of your players.

  I've found that 3 or 4 shots of Fireball whiskey makes the game performance tolerable.

  I am having the same issues as Simmertx.

  Game not loading, game freeze, blue screen, almost every second or third holes.

  When this happen, I close the playing screen  then I ask to play a game and the system ask me if I want to continue or end the previous game, so I say to continue and I am back on my game.

  But it is a real pain to be oblige to do that every second hole when you play an 18 holes tournament.

  I am playing o WGT for almost a year and never had such issues.

  Don't ask me what kind of computer and system I have, because it is not the problem.

  WGT has a real problem right now.

  i agree. been here a LONG time and have never seen the problems im seeing now. nothing like gettin to the end of a great alt shot match and it just freezes.

  I am having no problems like that with WGT. In fact it seems to be running better at the moment than it has for a long while.

  I use Comodo Dragon or Firefox as my browsers, and I use these two browsers for NOTHING else, exclusively for WGT. I clear my caches etc every two days as well and it all seems to run just nicely. I would say that I have nothing else running when I play WGT, no music, I play music to keep me company on a laptop beside the PC. I do use Skype however, and unlike some others I know of I get no problems because of that. 

  Maybe I am just lucky or its good computer housekeeping, I don't know, but I see posts telling of this problem or some other problem, and think I must be one of the lucky ones. But there are 10's of thousands on here playing who seem to have no bother at all. 

  I am no computer expert, but maybe its time for those with problems to look to their system setups and not keep blaming WGT, who are a convenient easy target ! WGT have given us a great game which we all enjoy, not perfect maybe, but way better than any others I have seen around. So sort your own house out before you take the easy option and blaming them ! 

  Now wheres my helmet ? Sure to get a battering from some for this !!

  Really, WGT has a problema in the servers. It is almost imposible to play a game because the playing screen is frozen each 2 or 3 holes or shoots and so you have to close the window and open it again and select continue the game..., but do you know WGT that when you are playing for example an alternate game that after 3 frozends, the game is finished and you have lost the game, and the worst your partner has also lost it and even all the players becomes angry with you. The only game you can play is CTTH because at least with only 9 shoots, you only have to reset twice or three times at least, lol.

  Choochoo999, have you checket that after each frozen window you can get the next message WGT.COM not respose due to an script of continuous ejecution? So it is clear, WGT has a problem with this, many players with the same problem, and it is the same that you change of computer, the problem is always the same.

  And the worst, where are the support persons on WGT??? They do not say anything here in the forum....., probably our problems are not enough important for them. As for me, I shall try to play each day a CTTH game and so the best, I shall save balls and so my accounts and my money will be also saved..., lol.

  Just my two pennorth'...if i use chrome its pot luck with the meter, if i use Firefox all is sweet and smooth and no issues of any sort......yet about 15 months ago the reverse was true, dont have a clue why but this probably indicates choice of browser is relevant.

  Just tried 3 different browers with the same results as being mentioned here. Then, I tried pinging WGT - guess what - request timed out 3 times before giving 1 result of: 4 packets sent - none received - 4 lost - = 100% lost.  Yep - WGT is having problems, but then that is nothing new.
