Amazing. Thanks for sharing my friend.

**edit,  sick to my stomach after how easy he makes it look lol.  Still can't see what he sees with the chipping view.  Knowing your clubs is one thing, but knowing how to see the line of the putt is key and that's what separates me from the best for the most part. Certainly isn't the clubs we play. Although, I'm sure they hit more greens than I do as well which gives them more opportunities to putt which is hurting me lately, but it's not my distance that's hurting me, it's my fingrrrrrrr.  ;-)

If I may be so bold, and I admit it took me ages to grasp this, is he scrunches up the view in chip or pitch mode to see the movement on dots close to the feet , and then checks to see the consistency of movement along the line of the putt, moving the aim marker such that all the dots are within the grid lines. It gives a better view of the dots.

He ends up moving the aim marker closer to the hole to double check whether there is any false movement nearer the hole.

Chooses his line and hits it, more often than not, he dings it as well, which does help, lol.

Edit :*  I'm gonna wait one day for feedback on the irons, then I'm buying them, simple as that.

Tell us what u fel, a percentage improvement over the level 97's please.

No improvement when you ding them, but maybe a yard or two less off line with a miss dinged long iron. That block I hit into the 16th green would always miss the green with the L97s, but just clung on with the new irons.

I'm finding the new meter speed hard to get used to. Matching the driver and 3wd is all well and good, but I've never felt as comfortable with the meter speed of those - it just doesn't come naturally. I'll try out some L48 balls and see if that gets things back to a more comfortable speed.

I've also switched to the ATV wedges to get those matching meter speeds too. This will no doubt cost a few shots while I relearn the short game yardages (witness the punched wedge into the 12th in the vid for a good example of that - no idea how much backspin to apply), but it will keep things interesting for a while.

Christ Almighty Mags, what an upheaval for ya. U'll never break 60 now.

Thanks for the feedback. I use the level 61 Nike now like u, because I love the meter speed, but at 500 a sleeve I only use them on special occasions.

Good for the long timers with nothing else to buy but, be nice if some lvl 90+ clubs could fill that (up to) 1 year gap of nothing to buy.

Yes!! 90-97 is pretty much the ugly step-child here. No man's land as far equipment goes.

Again, I would just like to be the fly in the office of wgt strategy sessions. Even better irons for the upper level players? I don't mind my R11s, but geez, at only L92 I am already longing for new equipment just out of sheer boredom(not of the game, but trying new stuff).

I just don't understand why they would leave the L90-96  players absent of any new relevant equipment. If these new irons are even better, the legend RGs will soon look like the TL RGs with 55s winning each event.

... the 2015 VT schedule has been updated (at least I'm pretty sure it wasn't there yesterday).

See this post in the 2015 Virtual Tour thread.

... and the schedule perhaps suggests Pebble not till November now :(

On that note: How hard would it be for WGT to produce a L93 iron set(225-120) that has let's say:

    4.5 precision  3.3 forgiveness 4.0 spin and 3.0 meter

This set would be better than the R11s but still not be at the level of the L97 Nikes and no where near the new L100s. It would probably be a set that most L93-L96 guys would purchase and I assume there would be a lot of us that would like to get out of the 2.5 meter R11s.

And for anyone with the "the R11s are great set of clubs" response. I understand that a player can score well with them, but this is again another question of what the heck is wgt's business strategy here.

Not sure that I will, but I would assume that a lot of players in the L90-L96 range whither on the vine at wgt as there is nothing for them to do or change for likely more than a year for some of them. It is going to take me over a year to get to L97 if not more - lol.

What an absolute joke WGT is.  I knew another set of clubs would come out before I got to 97.  If not before, right when I hit 97.  So now when I hit 97 or 100 another set will come out at 105, making more out of reach to ever have the top equipment.  It's an absolute joke and makes me not even want to bother playing.  Sure I can shoot good with the L90 R11's, but I want to be entitled to the same equipment as everyone else.

All Tour Legends should have all the equipment available to them.  Only solution.  But WGT is all about making money so it will never happen.
