The missing point here is that the top Level players in this game played with equipment that is no where close to what is available now, balls included.

I'm finding the new meter speed hard to get used to.

That was the first bummer for me, seeing the slower meter. However, the speeds are all the same now from the driver to the PW and that is a plus. Using the faster 33 Callaway ball I didn't see as much of an issue as I had anticipated and it seems the forgiveness helps with those near misses on the ding.

On a side note, I cleared my cache after equipping the irons but none of the game settings changed. Is this new?

Any advice on irons for a level 90's player using starter balls?

    DrSlick:
I don't mind my R11s, but geez, at only L92 I am already longing for new equipment just out of sheer boredom(not of the game, but trying new stuff).

Least you have clubs to work up to.  My thing was once you had L97 Nikes, there was nothing to look forward to.  Only problem now, is the new irons are only L100 and the only thing that makes me have to work for is obtaining the credits to get them.

Made TL so no more tier to work toward, reached average saturation so no more pushing for round count to get there, and made L100 so until this update, I had no clubs to really push on for, except the L100 driver which was no point having the R1 and Big Bertha drivers.

So for me and that boredom you referred to, I only have to push through the surveys and videos until I get the new irons and then since they have the same club distances/spin, I'd only have to relearn the meter speed.  Then back to square one with nothing to look forward too.

Perhaps future wedges with CG specs but a matching meter speed?  Is all I can hope for.

But WGT is all about making money so it will never happen.

    +1,,,,  It is the "bottom-line"

What's the deal WGT. The Club Performance chart now EXCEEDS the max 5.0 mark, LOL! WTF!

Now this opens the door for WGT to create a performance chart with no end. 5.1 / 5. 3 / 6.0 / 6.5 / ,,,,NO END.

Using Maxthon? If so, there seems to be quite a delay after closing it before it deletes any settings. But it seems to store temp files in the same place as IE, so opening and closing IE with auto-cache clearing enabled gets rid of the files more quickly.

Argyle: The L85 Nikes are fairly playable with starters. L97s are even better once you get the rhythm bedded in. So these L100s will be very playable with starters.

I just tried the L48 balls in a few cheapo RGs and am much more comfortable with the brisker meter speed (though got to be careful not to hit putts late now!!).
