    As an old Tour Legend, I quite frankly resent the fact that players are primarily rewarded with access to top equipment when they play a lot of rounds, not for playing well and reaching the top tier. I simply do not have time to play enough rounds weekly to reach level 100 within the next few years, assuming I am still alive then. Years ago, access to top equipment matched your access to the top tier. That was fair, and I wish we could go back to that.

    I figured I would voice this point of view, though it probably will be ignored by the powers that be. I say that because in the past I had a most pleasant and friendly relationship with wgt's staff when I wrote emails, and now I never even get the courtesy of a reply, let alone a positive response to whatever request I may have. That is truly unfortunate and disappointing, when I think of the many years I have played this game and spent thousands of dollars on upgrades and balls. So much for the spirit of good customer service. Gone with the wind.

    It does seem troubling and hard to reckon...with almost six years in, perhaps 3,800 ranked rounds,and expenditures mostly likely higher than anyone here, with plenty more itching to go, and yet I must keep plugging away to be allowed to buy the L100 driver & irons while trying to make solid sense of it...the logic escapes me.

    Do you really think that they will go back to the old system when the new one is so well designed for profit by grinding?

    Silly me - You know Mr. A, you're right. I can't remember once when anything installed here that was a bug free, dollar bonanza got the hook. ;-}

    I have been here since 2009 and don't get to play much because of work, thank you for saying what I have been thinking for a long time.

    You are most welcome. The thing is, wgt hangs on to its business model in spite of customer protest because it is good at generating profit. They turn a blind eye on the absurdity of it while loyal and high-paying players are set back by this system because they only have time to play a round here and there. My example speaks volumes, and I am sure there are many like me, you being a case in point. So you have Tour Masters who play many rounds a day, and are fitted with better equipment than I can, who is exposed to Tour Legend conditions. This is indeed moronic in the extreme, not to say grossly unfair, all the more as my reaching this top tier should be better rewarded than just playing a lot.

    Truth is, wgt would still make plenty of money if they introduced some additional rules of access in the Pro Shop, based on my observations, which are mere common sense. Surely, they can rest easy, knowing we will not leave because there is no competing product out there, but it is still bad customer service, besides their ignoring us on a regular basis, and that, I must say, leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

    Outstanding achievement, girl, Kudos to you! 51.11 average, and not having full access to top equipment is nothing short of scandalous. It is even so for me, so all the more for you. Your consolation, however, is that you are only one level short of 100, but still that doesn't change the fact that the current system is badly flawed.

    Oof - read my last 20 posts as Jimbog can attest on this matter - lol. It really is fruitless G0LD to get them to respond.

    The last response I received from the powers that be was "we know nothing until the very last second." And, that is from people that are supposed to know something. I am sure they do know something, but are not allowed to say anything.

    Oh well, the beat goes on and hopefully there will be other games out there that force at least some minute changes in WGT's business practices as it is a really good product overall.

    Thanks! What a nice thing to say !

    Well, I've been a "red tee jockey" for a couple of months and it is a help but it comes with "snarky" innuendo from bitter folk who always defame as if anyone can go as low. Groovy ! Bring it. All it takes is 24's & 25's ( I prefer Kiawah B-9) and the guts to dump a million 26's, along with a couple million eagles. After so much time here and shooting under 60 from the back tees, at every venue, in heavy wind & so on,  shooting so called legit ( as the bitter sages deem it) 62 at Merion no longer means anything to me. I'm happy and I'm having fun, having fun...it keeps me playing here with purpose. Thanks again !

    LOL

    I hate seeing good people get to a great level, and then leave through the nearest exist for good soon as they they realise just how far away the top equipment is.

    Last I usually hear is who do these people think they are thinking they can treat people like that, and vote with their feet. WGTs game but I don't mind telling them I think they are strangling it this way.

    That red tee low average stuff IMO also very well done SP - VN achievement.  It's one of the reasons I vote for a new tier.  I do not think people who enjoy that should be encumbered with only full length tees counting, and possibly rolling averages that are per course although up to saturation it is kind of that way.  I do think some also want stats reflective of just full length real courses, and rolling per course..................Too much work for WGT that though when it's fast $ today or nothing time.
