    freefunrulz:
Last night my friend and I deleted each other from our friends list.  Then  I went to the community tab and did a search on his name and invited him to play from that screen.

This works. Only took the guy inviting me to delete me off his list, I didn't have to delete him. He was trying to invite me and I wasn't seeing the invite. He deleted me and entered the name in the invite box and I saw it instantly.

surely this insight that freefunrulz has given us must enlighten WGT as to the root of the problem?  or could this be a game within a game, wherein the delight enjoyed by the WGT staff is to see us all struggle to make work a rounds?

    LOLserver:

After reading, for the last two months, at least 90% of the threads with post about the invite bug & other bugs, I have the impression that WGT cannot fix the invite bug and probably the other bugs neither.

Not because WGT does not want to do it, despite having its best engineers and programmers in the matter, perhaps it is simply they lost data that cannot be recovered. Something like missing the backup data of the game which is probably lost forever or deleted.

I come to this conclusion simply because I do not understand why a company who offers a product in the internet based on multiplayer features = "gathering together" has delayed a fix now for almost two months.

I cannot think of a company, group, etc who will take such risk of losing customers because what they offer does not work properly, not to say only the basic features like playing matches in stroke, skins, etc mode.

There is something very wrong with WGt behaviour since the last update if not since 3 o 4 months ago when the game started being messy in almost all features.

I was making fun in the "And everything else" forum section about by creating a thread named; "When will invites be fixed...have a guess" http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/298326.aspx where there were not many options mentioned, unfortunatelly all negative.

Is this the pinnacle of WGT when the company will start going down the hill until misses so many customers that it need to be closed?. Is this the best moment for a new golf game to come up and compete with WGT offering something similar or even a better product?, etc, etc etc.

Many of my friends and fellow colleagues from the CC admit to start plating less & less or simply not playing at all the game....and until the game gets fixed things won't look better for any of them including me.

I have said this before: I hope there were a game competing with WGT offering a similar product ...... a place to go. WGT is in a "comfort zone" that damages our hope to have the same fun game we remember.

    Well said

I don't agree with you on this part, Eric.

Even if I already said (see my previous posts about) that WGT is not the only one golf-simulation online, WGT remain the lone which offer the best "opportunity" to fun ourself.

    More precisely:

"against" WGT (on the web, for pc's) exist only: "EATigerWood online", "OCG Golf", "Perfect Golf".

I'm signed in in each of they, and I well know all them.

    - "EATigerWood online" is an environment without noone realism; it is a merely "machine-golf"; noone enjoy on playing it; furthermore: like in WGT the user/player must buy (then: to spend money for) balls, equipment and climb tiers (= make "career"); then: better WGT than "EATigerWood online", because - at least - the realism of golf-simulation is the maximum possible with current web resources;

    - "OCG Golf" = exactly same said about "EATigerWood online";

    - "Perfect Golf" could be the only one competitor "against" WGT, but "PG" needs a huge amount of pc's-AND-connectivity resources; furthermore: it could be really fun for who well know the real golf, but not for every "simple" online-player, because "PG" (for really fun the user), in addition to requiring huge pc's AND connectivity resources, forces every player to play very very very nice.

I'm signed-in in each of this platforms. Try each of them, and let me know your thought about, please.

My regret is only one: WGT (since the Company are in a "comfort zone", I agree with you Eric) not respects OUR needs, the needs of HIS OWN users, the needs of WHO SPENDS MONEY AND TIME "IN SEARCHING" HIS OWN FUN THANKS TO WGT.

I think WGT remain the best golf-online simulation at now.

I think we must follow to invite WGT management to demonstrate an higher "sensibility" toward all us = toward HIS OWN CUSTOMERS.

Simply: to ignore the first rule of the commerce (= the customers satisfaction) is very stupid from WGT. The Company, through its awesome staff, offers in every place/way/time ONLY evasive responses.

All us are publishing posts over posts in this very thread, maybe without hope, but we can "only" do that.

    That's it.

What issue i have is that for the last 3 months i have been wasting my time reading and commenting. Reason is that all folk on here have been throwing out things for us customers to do to try and rectify. Such as clear cache daily, swap browser, check nothing else running on laptop, change flash quality to low and even stop my rolling screensavers etc etc etc.

I have done all this and its had sweet FA to do with anything, so no more blame to the customers and no more hints, tips and any other boooooolox i will take note of.

Remove every friends from our list and re-invite each of them so to have restored the invitation feature...

This means that WE must work in place of WGT...

LMAO: I pay for have fun (together other friends and peoples), BUT - to have fun - I MUST EVEN WORK (in place of who takes my money) !!!

    Funny! Really funny!

    Ahahahahahah. Uhuhuhuhuhu. Ahahahahahah.

    Toooooooo funny!!!

p.s.: I keep over 150 friends in mine list. If I should must proceed to cancel and re-invite each of them, how many time needs to me to do that? Apart that I WANT NOT work in place of who EARN MY MONEY!!!

Invtes seems to be fixed now?

They are working 'better' again on my end, although my first 3 - 4 holes still have loading issues between shots.

But if a friend invites me , i dont seem to have the loading issues between shots.

They still appear from time to time but not as bad as before.
