What will be the post-Flash game? Will it be PC based, multi-based or only mobile based?

I'm not sure, but I don't think the mobile version has/uses flash. And the PC version will always be flash. I may be wrong about the mobile, though. I recall something being said about ios/android type systems couldn't handle flash or something. Tablets may can do flash. I won't ever find out.

I stick by what I have said about WGT putting 90% of it's time, effort, money, and resources into the mobile version. The PC version will hang around, but become a secondary (already has) concern for the folks running ruining the show.

Flash cannot, and never will be competition to steam. If WGT went to steam, the cost would extremely outweigh the benefits. So, the only logical thing they can do, to keep any revenue stream, is to focus and grow their mobile version.

I still log on, and hope things are better, see they're not. See that we're still treated as dumba**, gullible, and naive little idiots, and just pass the time in the forums, trying to play, and the whole time I'm saying to myself "why do you even log on?".

I used to spend 6-8 hours playing. Now, my total play might equal 30 minutes, if that.

You're correct about the mobile versions, and wrong concerning PCs:

"Flash is dead" has been in the headlines, because major applications like youtube will turn away right now, leaving Adobe no rationale to continue.

IMHO, PCs will become Flash-less ?in a few years? - what will happen until then, WGT?

Does this game have some problems. yes, it does but we are always trying to improve the game and fix issues.

I may not play 10-15 rounds a day like I used to, but I play daily... Last Friday, I played I think 7 or 8 straight hours (until courtney whipped my butt) and didnt have 1 crash or anyone on my public games crashed or disconnected. I just played some random games on random courses. Many players didn't recognize it (I played under iconian), so it was kinda fun to play under the radar :)

Can it better? of course, we always want that. After all, if there are less issues then we can all play more and spend less time reading the forums.

An honest assessment IMO.

My observations is that since WGT started working on the introduction of the android version, the PC gameplay has significantly deteriorated. Perhaps neglecting one side of the business whilst concentrating on others without sufficient resourses.

However I also concur with Alosso insofar as flash has a best befoer date (well probably past it now) so where will the PC game be in a couple of years? Is the platform also being changed (currently) hence the problems?

Something has to give, if it is the PC version then you have lost me. I have no intention of playing on a tablet or my phone.

Hey now - you guys mean to say that it's Not me...........that all of a sudden my games got 'Rickett's' it's maybe, possibly.....inconceivably The System lol Think will stop re-loadin - re-bootin - re-configuring - re-assessing - re-evaluatin - Loggin out 'n' Loggin in - screamin shoutin, finger wagin 'n' threatin'in & 'stuff'. But memories (good ones / nay, Great Ones ) keep bringing me back.........l might be a Tour Master here, but in real life feel like a Hack.

Icon you must have your own private server if you don't have any glitches or super powers.You say you play as iconian as well as using wgticon 2 accounts?

Being close to it or directly connected may help some ;)

The split between private account and role account is well-known, it even shows up in the names.

I rarely use wgticon... I play under iconian and I do not have a private server:)

I also reside far away from the hq, in fact I am on the east coast.

The headlines might say flash is dead but there have been some game companies including E.A.'s Pogo that have actually left or are leaving the Java platform and switching to flash for more stable game play. So what does that say about those headlines??
