  Given the state of Buttermere group, and the need to press on with the event, I (we)have offered/conceded Dougie/Cate victory on the first extra hole, following a standing of all square thru 9.  It will not alter the table, and hope as organiser Monty that this is acceptable to you.

  Please could you confirm this is ok?

  No problem, it was on the front page, but it wasnt very noticeable as it wasnt in bold.

  it is -

  Second round matches play St Andrews back 9, white tees, easy pins, very fast greens, low wind. Its a calm day at St Andrews so lets see some low scores!

  This is right up your street! I think this one will be 'eagle city'!

  In the second round we also have a nearest the pin competition.

  Please everyone note your distance from the pin on the 11 th hole.

  Second Round - Sudden Death

  In the second round the sudden death is combined score matchplay over 3 holes max (not 2 holes as in the group stage) followed by nearest the pin in regulation on the 13th.

  card to match... ok the way I see it that gives us 1st, doesnt matter if we lose we would only lose by 1, so we would have the differential in favor, and Paul/Tiff would be 2nd.

  So you want Cate and I to finish??

  

   

  Sorry Terri I missed this message yesterday, yes you are correct after the match was halved the result could no longer effect the table standings.

  Group Stage Ends This Sunday Night (16th)

  Hi All,

  As we have made some good inroads now, the group stage will be completed on Sunday.

  Please make all efforts possible to complete your games, use any means at your disposal including pairs, three ball, with a marker, whatever, just get me some results!

  We will have a last 16 on Monday morning, and if matches have not been played you may be eliminated. If there are spaces to fill in the last 16 priority will be given to players who have played matches, even if they didnt win!

  Me and Shags still have a match to play against Chrispeds & Kurt, Unfortunetely Chris hasn't been on-line since 31st Decembe,  perhaps he is on holiday?
