  Flocke Ellis  V Shaghar Mike

  was very hard to get us all to match up , tried a few times and by the looks of it Ellis has limited time , so anyways we played the 9 holes ,,  and somehow Ellis needs to work his round out , i will leave that up to Monty and the management  Going on the scores so far Mike and Shags are 1 up after the 9 with Ellis to play ...

  Ok Thanks Shags, Ellis you have until Sunday to play this with a marker, otherwise Mike & Shags win 1 up.

  First round match between DougieWaugh/Cate55 and TallAcePaul/Tiffer67 finished in a comfortable 2 and 1 victory for TAP/Tiff.

  Having gone 2 up by the 3rd, our opponents moved to dormie 3 on the 6th and only a fine birdie by Cate prevented the match finishing on the 7th green. However, Cate's birdie at the next was matched for the victory, while I continued to play like a 'coo' (as they say in these parts, although most of the English speaking world would know this better as 'cow').

  Enjoyable match anyway and congratulations to our opponents, while commiserations go to my partner for being lumbered with me...lol!

  Someone else may have a copy of the scorecard, but I got 'blue screened' before I had the chance to save it.

  In the match outstanding in Buttermere, after a valiant fightback from DW, we're into extra holes.

  To finish the match Cate and Terri need to play extra holes.  If they tie the first, Cate needs only to match Terri on the second to clinch.

   If still tied after that, we have a nearest pin in two on the 3rd.  Mine is closest between DW and I.  6.5ft to beat (if it get's that far)

  Hi Martin,

  Have you communicated this to Terri and Cate?

  What was the scores on the extra holes, as it is combined score we need.

  card to match... ok the way I see it that gives us 1st, doesnt matter if we lose we would only lose by 1, so we would have the differential in favor, and Paul/Tiff would be 2nd.

  So you want Cate and I to finish??
