Just played my match, and we managed to sneak out a 2&1 win. Hole 16 was by far the highlight of the match, with everyone getting within 10 feet of the hole and Paul having his ball about an inch from a slam dunk.

Good game all, and thanks for the match!

Also, for the closest to the hole competition, I managed to hit it within 3 feet. Hopefully the others will be here to back this all up.

Had a great game with Fortesque99 (Shane)....the only problem was our partners did not turn up.....we decided to play and was hoping our game would decide the match but after the last hole....match all square.....Shane log off....I honest believe he did not get my full driff....and thought the other two would play their match.....I dont think that is going to happen....anyway we done our best to get this match played....down to the organizers to decide.

Score card below.....when checking card please note hole 11....eagle & birdie

    cheers   chris

    Sorry Chris.

I was under the impression that we would play our 9, and that our partners would get together (hopefully soon!!) and play their 9's and we could work it out from there (similar to how some rd 1 games had to be done...)

For the record, we both were off the back of the green on 11, so there was no nearest the pin...

I'm happy to hook up with Chris again to finish our game off if need be - Monty & crew, just let us know what you'd like us to do. The game was scheduled and confirmed with the 4 of us, but only Chris & I were there at the agreed time... so we got something played at least

Apologies for the confusion & any headaches this may cause.......

    Shane

If Bristow and MacG can get a round in at some point today thats fine.

Will you boys chase them down to let them know if they don't already?

    Cheers

The bluescouse/Ryan.Anderson vs craiger85/BARRYCOOKE match was scheduled for today. Unfortunately, we were not all able to make it for the match, so bluescouse and I chose to play our portion of the match and Ryan.Anderson and BARRYCOOKE will schedule a time to play their half.

However, in "This Week in Brain Farts"... after completing our portion of the match, my brain went into autopilot and went back to the main menu before taking a screenshot of the scorecard. I still have all the scores remembered in my brain (which was easy to remember thanks to all of the pars in our match), if this is acceptable. Winning scores are in bold and italics:

    Hole                     10   11   12   13   14   15   16   17   18   In   Total

    Par                         4     3      4     4     5      4     4     4      4   35      35

    bluescouse          4     3      4     4     4      4     4     4     4    34      34

    craiger85              3     3      4     4     3      3     4     4     4    32      32

    To summarize the non-par holes:

10: Both of use were on the green, but I almost holed out my 2nd from about 50 yards out. Sean's putt burned the edge, and I sunk the birdie putt.

14: Downwind, both of us hit the fairway. My 2nd reaches the green, about 18 feet short of the hole, while Sean's 2nd hits the face of the hill at the front of the green and settles on that flat bit of green in front. From 60 ft, Sean does well to 2 putt for his birdie, but I sink my eagle putt.

15: Again, both of us hit the fairway. I knock my 2nd to within 6 feet, Sean hts his to about 15 feet. His birdie putt burns the edge, and I sink my birdie putt.

Very impressive recall skills, Craig - although I didn't really want reminding of that round!

I suppose we should mention we both hit to about 11ft on the CTTH.

Ryan posted me afterwards. He missed us by about 20 minutes.

Thanks for the game and good luck with the rest of it.

    Sean
