I'd like to see some new courses on WGT. Variety is great, challenging, rewarding and fun. And not all courses need to be world famous. In fact I'd like to see some neighborhood courses. The kinds of courses that we play every day. I'd like for my friend from Ireland to be able to invite me to a round on his home course and vise versa. And I'm pretty sure a lot of these 'neighborhood' courses would like to be able to advertise "As seen on WGT".

    Thank you

I think most players would like more full stroke courses, and yes I agree variety is good.

But a couple of points - WGT needs long courses - players stats of fairways hit, GIR etc means that unless the course is very tough and long, it will be too easy for this game.

But in fairness we do have quite a good selection of courses, and looking through your score history you mainly play a couple of courses, thus depriving yourself of the variation you want.

The cost of putting a course together for WGT is expensive, and to recoup that investment players will need to play those courses (ball use = green fee) and playing a local municipal course will probably not achieve this.

I would love to see more courses, but unless it is viable, I cannot see lesser known courses being included - unless the course is willing to front up with the cash.

Optimists think that it may come later this year, before the relevant Tour tournament(?)

Still, they are WGT, so hope is futile.

I am not defending WGT as course development has been slow over the last few years (ignoring Best Of's and pitch and putt) but even to get to the stage of photographing the course is a slow process due to contractual agreements (lawyers specialise in protracting seemingly simple legal documents, let alone relatively complex ones).

Many people seem to think WGT just go and take photos at will to string a course together....if only lol. It is not quite as simple as getting off their asses.

For those that think it just takes a wish.

It looks like it will be here December. The virtual tour tourney for December is the Pebble Beach Championship and is a major. I can't see them having a major on a CTTH course.

    Dude!

You're barking up the wrong tree.

    WGTadmin2:

Just send a note to the course general manager and tell them there is a great golf game out there with millions of golfers and they should have their course featured next to the top courses in the world.

So true Apex, these words of wisdom from admin2 should resonate across the globe, and we should all write letters to our favourite courses.

Then I am sure we will see an influx of new courses in this game once the managers realise there is a great golf game out there with millions of golfers wanting to play their golf course.

Barking up the wrong tree or barking mad?
