WGTyphoon: To be a moderator you have to apply for a full time job at WGT
Actually herein lies part of the problem in my opinion. Often in the past "violations" to posting guidelines have occurred when the Mods are not around.....primarily due to time zones.
So by the time the Mods come on line, the damage has been done.
When I acted as a moderator for an aviation forum a number of years ago, the mods were all over the world that ensured the forum was monitored most of the time.
There it was primarily after an incident or a disgruntled employee of an airline that would create havoc.
This is different as it is a business but sometimes you need to look outside of your comfort zones to create a solution,
If WGT was smart it would create part-time positions for moderators that would include marketing and sales to boost areas (with performance KPI's) outside of the US.
Regardless, the way the forum participation appears to be declining, probably no action is required.
Like the slow loads, nothing seems to happen.
