This seems a bit narrow minded.

    WGTyphoon:

To be a moderator you have to apply for a full time job at WGT. If you are ever interested in working for WGT you can always review what positions are open.

As stated by others - broader coverage of the time-zones might be beneficial, as well as increased numbers. Rather than incurring the costs of full time employees - why not recruit & train a number of "forum moderators" to assist with general queries and ensure forum guidelines are followed. Many frequent posters are doing part 1 of this anway for free. I am certain there would be no shortage of experienced WGT-ers willing to take on more "responsibility" for no more than free balls!

    Moderation sucks.

I used to be a very vibrant member of a forum in Thailand that dealt with Ex-Pat issues, and it became so that the many moderators it had were removing posts, and totally altering the message and arguments in the thread.

It eventually became irrelevant what u posted as the post u responded to had been removed and so the meaning of ur post was corrupted.

    Pointless

There's only 1 qualification you need to be a WGT moderator. And that's the ability to type have you cleared your cache and flash. To sum it  up, a monkey or a robot could do it. If you are a robotic monkey you stand a very good chance.
