To me it looks like the pin stuck in the fairway, I can't make out the outline of the green AT ALL!?

Is it just my eyes???  LOL  It says fringe, but damn if I can't tell graphically if it's green or fw or fringe.

On the mini map it's clear as can be, but zoom view to aim not so much.

Agree, it's hard on some holes to tell where the green starts. Beautiful course, but plays harder, at least for me, than it looks like it should be. New course, tough greens, but I'm not that great a putter i'll admit.

This is a links golf course guys, get real , ball washer was empty on the 9th, no wine in my buggy, and the sun is in your eyes on the 10th. Be honest a beautiful Golf Course and hats off to WGT , go on say it.

Same here on quite a few of them...I was wondering what happened to the putting grid on 1 of them then figured out I was in the fairway...

I especially like those last few aerated greens that play just as good as they look...

    You quite sure, LOL.

    4th hole preview:

Look never seen it IRL, but looking v quick at a RL pic or 2 they have done an outstanding job IMO.  It's wondrously photographed, and as good a representation as anyone could possibly have hoped for.  Basically it's what this place is best at and they are best by a very long margin for v good reason.

IMO it's also the best course thus far, and that was no easy thing to achieve.  It's very hard to replicate close to how hard these courses really play with the equipment we get  However this course you can't just stiff everything, and so some thought away from plain darts is best to shoot low.

yes, he asked why it's difficult to distinguish fairway from green

Interesting paragraph from that that immediately made sense as I've played it a few times. You can really get creative with shots.

Much like the traditional links courses of Scotland, Robert Trent Jones II designed Chambers Bay to encourage the imaginative and creative shotmaking that epitomizes links golf, particularly along the ground. There is no "line of play" around Chambers Bay, but rather an infinite number of strategies from tee to green that will get the player around the course successfully. Risk/reward opportunities abound, though wide fairways welcome all golfers to swing away.
