    borntobesting:

The average putts per round can be a little miss leading. What I would like to see is 2 stats for this average putts for 9 hole rounds and average putts for 18 hole rounds.

The post is not for you to get more stats.

As the OP said, He is relatively happy with the spider but wanted advice on the precision of the Daytona.

For a master tier player he seems to putt okay.

Easier to get better with what you are using now than to have to start from scratch with a new putter.

Just don't make the mistake of selling back your old putter if you do purchase a more expensive putter of any kind.

    JustJimmy:

Your putting isn't much better and you have had 18 months more practice than the OP.

Don't push him into wasting his money until he is sure:)

This would be valid except for the difference of about 900 rounds. I putt 4 times less per round based on the stats, whatever that means. One of the drawbacks of those stats are that they encompass every single shot you ever took here from day 1. In early stages, as the OP is in, the stats are a little more realistic and will change a little quicker. They do a better job of describing his game and if his putting is like mine with his inferior putter what do you think it would be with a real one like I have?

@Andy-I should have said 9 instead of 18.

I was actually planning to keep the Spider just in case the new one didn't work out so you read my mind there JustJimmy. The biggest problem I have with my putting is'nt hitting the ding line but reading the breaks on the greens. Usually when I miss a putt its only just outside either side of the hole. I just thought that maybe it wasn't me misreading lines but the precision of the putter being low causing it to just miss.

The Daytona and Redwood Master are equal.

I played the Daytona for a long time. It's a nice putter if you like to use the mishit putting approach which isn't a very consistent approach. I changed my putting to a "always ding" and use the Redwood Master and can sink anything within 30 feet 90% of the time.

    Are you 100% sure?

Get the Daytona, the meter speed is roughly the same as the Spuder as I like to call it. The ball goes where you aim it, very few surprises. A great investment!

    I love my Daytona!
